Great service, lovely welcome, very accomodating as I was out til early hours at an event, fantastic food. Couldn't ask for any better. Would definitely stay again if in the area, and will tell my friends and family about Brora Lodge.

Tea, coffee, bottled water, sweets and biscuits available in the room, thats if you can manage to eat anymore after the fabulous breakfast which is served in the conservatory overlooking their pretty garden and the fields behind. we... Thank you Helen and Peter for your wonderful and most welcome hospitality. We arrived tired and care warn ; we departed reluctantly after 3 nights. Breakfasts were enjoyable and the garden lovely. See you next year?

Visiting the town to accompany my widowed mum to a wedding could be seen as a chore but staying at Brora Lodge made it feel like a holiday! Helen & Peter have got it down to a 't' welcoming without being intrusive, homely, comfortable and spotlessly clean and the breakfasts were delicious! They've thought of everything - umbrella for a rainy morning... More

Our third stay speaks volumes for the esteem in which we hold Helen,Peter and Brora Lodge. Beds are very comfortable, breakfasts to be salivated over and the house and garden a delight. In the last 3 weeks we have spent 10 nights in 6 differing establishments in 4 countries, none can come near Brora Lodge

Brora Lodge is an ideal base for the Galloway area. Helen and Peter made us most welcome and provided excellent breakfasts and very comfortable accommodation. Their help with local information and friendly discussions made our stay really relaxing. Many thanks to them.

Our umpteenth visit and this time on a glorious evening when we sat in the conservatory and soaked up the sun and the view. Helen and Peter are as attentive as ever and the breakfast is great, sets you up perfectly for the day. It may look like a humble(ish) bungalow at the front but you step into a wonderful... More

We booked a short stay (25th-27th June) at the Brora Lodge B&B as an anniversary break and really wished it could of been longer. We have visited Scotland many times before but had never been to Wigtown (sadly) and what a 'treat' we came across. Helen & Peter are such welcoming people with a wealth of local knowledge and information... More

This is an excellent B&B with very friendly, but not "pushy", hosts. The room was comfortable, 'though on the small side without being cramped. The public rooms are spacious and the views are wonderful.

Super place.Lovely people. Wonderful views. The room was fine but a little on the small side (not cramped). We are required to write 200 characters so I'll fill the space, having said my piece! qqqqqq.
