Stayed here while on a wandering holiday. I booked same day over the Internet and arrived late, but was still greeted with a smile. We had plans to leave early in the morning, which was relieved with genuine disappointment, and an offer to have something for us early as we would be gone prior to breakfast service. Our room was... We found Harbour lights on Tripadvisor so booked for the night. What a lovely welcoming atmosphere has been created by the family. We had a family room on the first floor looking out on the bay. Room contained everything we needed plus a baby changing table for a family. Breakfast was lovely, served in the dinning room down stairs. Top... More

Excellent family run guest house, friendly staff/owners and amazing food. The room was a double ensuite with views over the bay. Nice a quiet hotel and the room was clean tidy and plenty complimentary tea/coffee etc. Free wifi in room also which was great.

We had 3 nights here in September. Friendly hosts who made us welcome. Great reception - our luggage was taken to our room for us. Nice breakfasts. Comfortable room & bathroom. Bed size was a bit smaller than you get in Premier Inn or what we have at home. Good wifi in the room. Easy parking and a few minutes... More

Many thanks for taking time to write your lovely review, I am glad you enjoyed your stay. All our double beds are standard size but we do have a room that has 2 double beds which would allow you more space if you happen to travel our way again. Thank you again. More

Had a wonderful overnight stay in a comfortable bed, in a spotlessly clean room with a view, lovely thick towels with everything you need in the bathroom and a short distance to local shops. We had an excellent breakfast with all you could want.Couldn't ask for more. Outstanding value, with delightful owners. Will definitely return.

My wife and I stayed overnight prior to catching the Belfast Ferry from Cairnryan. On arrival we met Colin Brown who showed us to our room (No.2) and explained the services available both in the guest house and adjacent to the property. The view from our room looked out across a public car park and then onto Loch Ryan. Although... More

Owners looked after us well and do a great breakfast. Good cooked one as well as bowls of seeds, dried and fresh fruit to put on different cereals, muesli etc. If over 6 feet, try not to be late to check in like us as top floor I couldn't stand up in.

Thank you for your review I am glad you enjoyed your breakfast. You actually came to the door having not reserved a room and as we do will all guests who have not pre-booked were shown the room to see if it suited you, If this room was not suitable you did not have to take it and we would... More

This is a really great, cosy B&B. We were made very welcome and shown to our room which we found to be very clean and comfortable with nice views. TV, comfy bed and brew up facilities in the room were first class. The breakfasts were freshly cooked and absolutely brilliant! Highly recommended!!

My wife and I had a lovevely two night stay at Harbour Lights. The rooms are very comfortable and Colin & Rhona's breakfasts are truly wonderful. Parking outside is plentiful and the location is very handy for Stranraer itself, the Irish Ferries at Cairnryan and for the Dumfries & Galloway area in general.
