Having been to Portpatrick on numerous occasions, we decided to stay, after perusing tripadvisor, we came across the Muirhead guest house, and booked for 2 nights, it was fabulous! and it was in a ideal location for all of the shops and pubs. The room was clean and tidy and had all the mod cons including the best power shower... more

The Muirheads Guest House is just 100 metres from Portpatrick's harbour. Our room was large, warm, bright and , like the rest of the house, tastefully furnished. Lovely cotton bed linen and a decent sized shower room with power shower and loads of hot water. We had a very friendly welcome from Duncan and Marie and the breakfast is excellent... more

We have just returned from a lovely weekend at the Muirhead guest house, Portpatrick. Its location is superb - right in the heart of the village but in a lovely quiet area. We had a large, en-suite double room with views over the putting green. The accommodation was modern and spotless with all of the home comforts you could need.... more
