Our stay was for business and leisure. The location is superb and the views are spectacular. Don & Vanessa are fine hosts who will do whatever they can to make you feel welcome but they are not pushy. We had a twin bedded room which was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee making facilities are so much more than... more

Booked a couple of nights here after reading the positive reviews and we were not disappointed. I echo everything that has been said previously! Very comfortable, excellent breakfast (lovely fresh fruit salad and freshly cooked hot food), very welcoming, clean and we'll certainly be back. more

Booked this B& B for a one night stop visiting friends nearby. I was a bit unsure if it would suit us as the only room left was a double with private bathroom, well I needn't be concerned. The room was immaculate very comfortable with a sink. The beverages in the room where way above what I've had in even... more

A wee gem of a place. Could not be cleaner. The owners very helpful. Food as good as other say. I will be back. The ONLY MINOR drawback is parking. Do go to the anchor for meal next door. Keep away from the Mariner as the food is not great. The views are truely great. For golfer do play the... more

Having stayed at Rosemount several times now, we have stayed in every room and found all to be of a very high standard and always in pristine condition. An added touch is the provision of fresh milk in a flask to have with your cuppa and quality biscuits. The breakfast has to be one of the best we have ever... more

Stayed with my wife for three nights, Fri-Sun, trip arranged via email with 2 weeks notice. Rosemount had no en-suite or sea view rooms at this short notice, we took a room to the side with a "private bathroom" for £29/person/night. Pre-arrival emails were answered promptly with the information required. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and the decoration and... more

We stayed at Rosemount in April for 2 nights. We had a twin room at the front of the house with a lovely view over the estuary. The twin room with en-suite was bright and airy, comfy and spotlessly clean. The view from the window was exceptional and we sat watching herons, oystercatchers and many other water birds. The people... more

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights during February half term holiday week and we were delighted with everything. Like the first reviewer we stayed in the annex to the rear of the property, a large double room with two bunkbeds for children and an en-suite with toilet, shower and washbasin. The room was lovely and clean, fresh... more

We have just enjoyed a weekend staying at The Rosemount in the pretty little village of Kippford and would like to thoroughly recommend it. There are 5 rooms including a family annexe with en suite shower, which we stayed in. As we were thinking of booking for the future, Mrs Taylor showed us round. The two twin rooms have stunning... more
