Its not a big place but have good public transport links,lovely walks The Crown pub and The Kings hotel has lovely food children welcome. Friendly locals and some great shops.Went at Christmas time Beautiful and a great Ice rink. more
My friend and I stayed at the Kings Arms Hotel for a couple of nights. We were visiting the area to watch football at Queen Of The South and my friend was there to visit his family roots. The hotel is bang in the small town of Dalbeattie. The rooms are very clean, freshly decorated and are more than adequate... more
Stayed at the Kings Arms in July while on a cycle tour. Lovely comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Meals in the hotel were reasonably priced and delicious. Excellent breakfast with a good choice. more
