I stayed here for 3 nights while on a diving trip. Lovely owner Janice is most hospitable, a warm welcome and fond goodbye with as much help as you might need in between. Rooms are spacious and furnished in modern simple style, all ensuite, adequate storage and offering all the little extras you might need - toiletries, drinks making, iron,... More

Just stayed for one night bed and breakfast - would definitely have liked to stay longer having sampled Janice's hospitality and facilities. Great clean room, great breakfast, lovely friendly host for whom nothing was too much trouble, not to mention the sherry nightcap - what more could one ask for in a B&B. Will definitely stay again if in the... More

Two of us stayed only 1 x night as playin golf in Eyemouth 28th May then Morpeth 29th May 2014. We turned up at the B&B like drowned rats (Gortex clothing could only take so much drizzle) and from the start we were greeted with a warm welcome from Janice & Vernon and without asking an offer to dry out... Stayed for three nights recently with my mum and sister and could not recommend The Anchorage highly enough. Beautiful rooms with lots of little extras that more expensive places I have stayed in lack. The owner Janice could not do enough to make your stay comfortable, we particularly liked the wee sherry nightcap on our return each evening!. Thank you... More

We stayed here here for two nights 6 & 7 September 2013. I can't praise Janice enough. From the warm welcome on our arrival to the time we left. Janice met us as the door as if we were long lost family. The rooms were spotless and the service was excellent. I can't praise Janice and Vernon highly enough and... More

We only stayed one night but found the Anchorage just perfect. Our host Janice was amazing - so friendly she made us glad we had chosen her B and B rather than an impersonal hotel. Little touches like the little glasses of sherry waiting for us on our return from our evening meal and the chocolate biscuits on our tea... More

Our scuba diving club goes to a couple of locations near to Eyemouth & Janice's B&B has become a regular destination. The rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean and all we need for a weekend away. What makes the Anchorage so exceptional is Janice (ably supported by Vernon). Nothing is too much trouble - restaurant bookings, up to date suggestions of... More

Me & my partner stayed overnight on 03/08/13. We loved it, the room was immaculate, comfy bed, plenty if room, spacious shower room. Everything was lovely, complimentary chocolate biscuits, hot chocolate, tea, coffee bottled water. The bendy wall lights, (which could be turned off whilst in bed, great for the lazy...like me!) everything matching, bed covers, curtains, bedside lamps. It's... More

Brilliant small B & B with 3 rooms. We were met by Janice on arrival who treated us as long lost friends, nothing was too much trouble for her. The room was light, airy and clean. The bed gave a great nights sleep. Morning breakfast was the best I'd had for a while whilst travelling around. I must complain though... More
