Myself and my partner ended up here after looking for someplace to eat for dinner and we were not disappointed. The bar areas was busy but the very friendly barman made sure he got our order. I ordered the fish with chips, mushy peas and tartar sauce while my partner had the homemade steak pie with chips and mixed vegetables.... More

Had found our favourite spot booked out when holidaying in Scotland, so on a wet winter night we turned back to Tyndrum and pulled up at the first place we saw. Turned out to be an excellent call. The Tyndrum Inn was midway through renovations, few people in, the heating a bit on the blink. But who cares because they... More

Excellent stay. Family run, warm and friendly atmos' Bar staff accommodating nothing too much bother. Food second to none and the locals always prepared to chat about the hills, the fishing and any other information. The owners, although busy people, gave their time to ensure I had a comfortable stay.

Stop here for an unplanned journey break - did my job of getting my head down but really is just a commercial hotel and was full of workmen. Menu looked ok but food was unexciting. Had a long wait for breakfast - ordered egg bacon and sausage but they delivered the full hear attack! On the plus side it was... More

Hadn't been here in over 10 years since last walking the West highland way. Pub has a great atmosphere as remembered. The food was really well done, good pub food menu, huge portions. Had the ribeye steak cooked rare which was done really well and all the accompaniments were delicious. Staff really helpful and friendly. Had an ensuite room, plenty... More

It was a spontaneous choice to head for the highlands, this being the way of the best of times, for Hogmanay; and it proved to be the happiest ever welcoming in of a new year. With a terrific trio for musical entertainment, paying their woolly socks off, and the Inn filled with good company, every moment was to be savoured.... More

Doing West Highland Way in winter, meant setting off before sunrise to cover planned distance. We stayed at the Inn for the New Year's Eve, and what a pleasant experience it was! Excellent food, life band, free whisky on the house at midnight, local crowd... Most of all, we were grateful for thoughtfulness and helpfulness of staff - in particular... More

I would just like to say the owners andy and Jennifer are doing a top class job of renovating an old hotel. As a group of work mates the staff and the locals made us feel at home . I would recommend this hotel to anyone whether it be walking the west highland way or just passing through the area... More
