After a longish day on the West Highland Way it was a delight to be met by such hospitable hosts, Andy and Ellen. Sensing we were tired they showed us straight to our rooms, cooked us a fantastic meal, even did a mercy dash to the shops for us for a bottle of wine. The rooms were very comfortable, tastefully... Andy and Ellen both welcomed me and my 8 year old son, halfway along our WHW trek. They were very friendly and we even had a lift into the village from Andy. My son was intrigued to hear he was a fireman here! Breakfast was excellent and was perfect for the trek on to Inveroran. I would thoroughly recommend this... More

As part of a 8 day trip walking the WHW this was by far the best place on our trip, just everything was 1st class, the house & rooms homely, clean, comfortable & spacious as well as being well equipped with all that we needed for a great nights stay. The breakfast was superb & the welcome we received so... More

Having just walked from The Drovers Inn at Inverarnan, as part of our West Highland Way trip, on Scotland's warmest day of the year we were possibly a bit whiffy when we rang the bell at Andy & Ellen's beautiful guest house. After a quick change we were served a very welcome cup of tea in the conservatory with the... More

Having done our days walking on the West Highland Way we followed the instructions to get to the B&B via the water. Having fallen into the water and climbed the ladder I was delighted to be given such a warm welcome. Tea & cake (Home made), thena lovely relaxing room. Bed most comfortable & breakfast to sing about! Wonderful hosts.... More

Having been walking with an injury last week I was much relieved to arrive at Glengarry House - a really lovely home just on the edge of Tyndrum. Ellen's welcome was so warm, I felt at home immediately. Besides a very welcome cup of tea, she even provided an ice-pack for my knee. Upstairs, I had the most luxurious room... More

Surprising because my first impression when we arrived at this pre-booked B&B was ooh this is a bit isolated and probably therefore a bit ordinary and being right on the main road will doubtless be noisy - it wasn't any of these. Ellen was most welcoming from the moment we entered the door and after a long day of driving... More

Glengarry house is a very good bed and breakfast, we get a warm welcome from Andy when we are staying there on our way on the West Highland Way. We had our dinner there, it was fantastic. The rooms were also very nice and also the house is near the road you will not hear it TIP Tast the homemade... More

Stayed here for the second year running doing the West Highland Way. A warm welcome like long lost friends and a lovely cup of tea and homemade cake to ease the pains away. Dinner was cooked to perfection and nothing was too much trouble. May not be doing the walk again but will never pass this door for accommodation!! Thank... More
