This was my second time at Glengarry - I stayed there for a night in 2013 when en route from John O'Groats to Lands End. It has just got even better! Ellen and Andy are perfect hosts, both very helpful and with cheery personalities, with nothing too much trouble. Their guest house is immaculate, but with plenty of lovely homely... More

Dear Ellen and Andy, thank you very much for the lovely stay at your house. Your hospitality was truly exceptional and it was a pleasure to meet you. We agree with G,H,J & L (who we believe stayed with you on the same day and had dinner with us) that we can't speak too highly of Glengarry House. The attention... More

We can't speak too highly of Glengarry. This was by far the best B&B we stayed at whilst doing the West Highland Way. The accommodation is perfect and just a hop, skip & jump (over the burn) from the track. (You can go via the bridge nearby!) Ellen & Andy were terrific hosts who looked after us so well. After... We stayed here whilst walking the west highland way . Could not have asked for anything better. Hospitality from Ellen and Andy with superb food both in the evening and for breakfast . The bedrooms were lovely and warm with lots of hot water and comfortable beds . The welcome coffee and cake when we arrived was much appreciated There... More

Very comfortable accomodation. Owners made us very welcome after a lengthy walk. Welcomed with coffee and home made cake. Clean, comfortable bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Food was delicious ( try the lamb shank). Outdoor drying facilities available also. By far the best accommodation on the West Highland Way that we booked. Would highly recommend The Glengarry House,

We stayed her whilst walking the West Highland Way. We were welcomed by a pot of tea and a home baked cake, always a good start. The room was clean and the bed comfy. Our bathroom was not en suite but just along the hall and only used by us so was fine. We also had an evening meal which... More

We stayed here for one night whilst walking the West Highland Way. Ellen and Andy were very welcoming and had even carried out heavy bags up to our rooms. A cup of tea and homemade flapjack in the comfort of the conservatory at the end of a long days walk was fantastic. They offer an evening meal service which I... More

A nice and cosy place to stay, the hosts are very friendly an humorous people, the rooms are tasteful and useful appointed and if you want to top this try Ellens dinner - a dream after a long day on the highland way! I liked it very much and had a pleasant stay on my way north.

What a wonderful place to stay. Welcomed graciously by the owners and offered a cup of tea within minutes of arrival, just what's needed after a hard day walking the hills. The guesthouse is as warm and welcoming as the one you get on arrival and the rooms are beautiful. Such wonderful little touches made the stay even better, the... More

What a lovely place! Really friendly and welcoming, delicious breakfast, and surprise Easter eggs on Easter Sunday! Clean and quiet rooms, tasty Victoria sponge cake, super-comfortable bed - can't recommend it enough!
