Our favourite nite on the west highland way. Nicely appointed rooms. Very welcoming, friendly and amazing attention to detail and efforts to make our stay as good as possible. We also had dinner which was phenomenal. Loved the view and sunroom. Location a few minutes walk out of town - but still on the trail. Can't say enough good things... More

This was without doubt one of the best stops, if not the best, on our West Highland Way walk. A very warm welcome after a long day: coffee and homemade cake, the comfort of a drying room for the walking clothes and boots, a very large room, everything is just perfect. If you clicked on the one review here classified... More

I am honestly shocked to see all of the WHW walkers give such rave reviews. While the rooms were nice, the location of this house is terrible. It is a good 10+ minute walk along a 2-lane highway with zero shoulder. I saw that Ellen offered some people a ride into town...the funny thing is that we asked and were... More

We stayed here along our trek on the West Highland Way and it was absolutely lovely. The couple who runs the place is amazingly friendly and more than happy to help. The food is delicious, they even do dinner, which we missed, but heard from others was great! We also bought some homemade gifts here, great place along the way... More

We went to Glengarry House while walking the West Highland Way (,of course). What can one say about Glengarry House - clean, modern, great breakfast, evening meals can be arranged (to be ordered in advance) and the hosts Andy and Ellen are one of the nicest people you can think of. They keep updated bus schedules in the house which... More

This B and B was just outside of town, but easy enough to get to for a walker. I wouldn't try to cross the river (which is an option the owners give) at any other place than the bridge which requires you to double back. The room was spacious, clean and modern. The wifi was strong. I opted to eat... More

We stayed at Glengarry House while walking the West Highland Way and can say it is the most comfortable (and best value) accommodation we experienced. We were immediately greeted with tea, cake and an ice pack from our lovely host. Our room was large with a good en-suite and lovely views into the valley. We would also highly recommend having... I had such a wonderful time at Glengarry last year that I just had to go back on my latest WHW walk. This time, my husband came to stay at Glengarry too and we both enjoyed meeting Andy and Ellen again. We too had the wonderful cake and tea on arrival, followed by a delicious evening meal (oh, the famous... More

One of the best stops on the West Highland Way as we walked it in June, Glengarry is a delightful, friendly guest house and I can highly recommend it. We had the twin room with no en suite but that was no hardship as we had our own bathroom just across the corridor, complete with gorgeous Arran Aromatics toiletries to... More

This was our third visit to Glengarry House, we have visited both as walkers (being collected from the station) and drivers and Ellen and Andy's welcome is as warm as ever. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean and well appointed, the breakfast is tasty and well cooked and presented and the evening meal which Ellen offers for a very reasonable... More
