We stayed here along our trek on the West Highland Way and it was absolutely lovely. The couple who runs the place is amazingly friendly and more than happy to help. The food is delicious, they even do dinner, which we missed, but heard from others was great! We also bought some homemade gifts here, great place along the way... More

We went to Glengarry House while walking the West Highland Way (,of course). What can one say about Glengarry House - clean, modern, great breakfast, evening meals can be arranged (to be ordered in advance) and the hosts Andy and Ellen are one of the nicest people you can think of. They keep updated bus schedules in the house which... More

This B and B was just outside of town, but easy enough to get to for a walker. I wouldn't try to cross the river (which is an option the owners give) at any other place than the bridge which requires you to double back. The room was spacious, clean and modern. The wifi was strong. I opted to eat... More

We stayed at Glengarry House while walking the West Highland Way and can say it is the most comfortable (and best value) accommodation we experienced. We were immediately greeted with tea, cake and an ice pack from our lovely host. Our room was large with a good en-suite and lovely views into the valley. We would also highly recommend having... I had such a wonderful time at Glengarry last year that I just had to go back on my latest WHW walk. This time, my husband came to stay at Glengarry too and we both enjoyed meeting Andy and Ellen again. We too had the wonderful cake and tea on arrival, followed by a delicious evening meal (oh, the famous... More

One of the best stops on the West Highland Way as we walked it in June, Glengarry is a delightful, friendly guest house and I can highly recommend it. We had the twin room with no en suite but that was no hardship as we had our own bathroom just across the corridor, complete with gorgeous Arran Aromatics toiletries to... More

This was our third visit to Glengarry House, we have visited both as walkers (being collected from the station) and drivers and Ellen and Andy's welcome is as warm as ever. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean and well appointed, the breakfast is tasty and well cooked and presented and the evening meal which Ellen offers for a very reasonable... More

Glengarry House is exactly what you need halfway on the West Highland Way. De house is light airy and the temperature is so comfortable. This was not my first stay and Ellen and Andy were as welcoming as I remember from last time. No need to go out for dinner, Ellen cooks a lovely home meal for a small fee... More

My friend Andrea and I stayed during our West Highland Way walk. The Glengarry is sign posted on the walk which makes it easy to find. We arrived a bit soggy but Ellen and Andy were not phased at all and we were welcomed warmly, they are well set up for wet walkers. Our luggage was already in our room... More

This was my second time at Glengarry - I stayed there for a night in 2013 when en route from John O'Groats to Lands End. It has just got even better! Ellen and Andy are perfect hosts, both very helpful and with cheery personalities, with nothing too much trouble. Their guest house is immaculate, but with plenty of lovely homely... More
