Very friendly welcome, lovely tea and flapjacks really appreciated afterwalking. Beautiful room, better than any hotel we've stayed in. Just our kind of breakfast, good cereals, fruit and lovely toast. Just take a torch if you're walking back from the village at night. We hope to get back! Lovely toileteries, really appreciated the foot rub after walking!

Cakes on arrival. Very nice all round. Very friendly. Excellent breakfast. The only minor downside is that it is just outside the village on an unlit road if you want to walk to the pub at night, but other than that I would heartily recommend.

I've just spent four nights at Glengarry House, and Ellen and Andy are superb hosts. The place is warm and spotless, the tea flows endlessly as you first arrive or return each day, and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. They have a lock up garage for bikes, a drying room, and chickens. I highly recommend this place whether you're... More

Ellen and Andy made us very welcome and the lodge is superb, very clean, tidy and comfortable. They really have thought of everything. The self catering lodge is very well equipped with lots of added extras to aid a comfortable stay. We will be sure to visit again soon.

Thanks Ellen & Andy for a fabulous stay. We had a fantastic 2 night stay. The accommodation is perfect with every detail looked after and Ellen and Andy are the absolute perfect hosts. The full breakfast is excellent and was the best we had all week, which included Michelin restaurants - well done, we will definitely be back to tackle... More

Like many others this was just one night on the WHW (for the second time - walk and Glengarry) and an experience everyone should enjoy. Note that most if not all refer to Ellen and Andy obviously with high regard. They were very congenial hosts and so helpful in organising baggage uplift and transfer when it became apparent to myself... More

This was our third stay in the Lodge at Glengarry House and the only downside is that you have to leave!! The location is wonderful and so peaceful and quiet. Ellen and Andy are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The Lodge is equipped with everything you need and is very reasonably priced and great value for... More

A beautiful house with wonderful food and amenities. Ellen and Andy were the perfect hosts so helpful and kind. Staying at the house for dinner was definitely the right decision. The tip from Ellen about the rest of the WHW being walkable in trainers spurred me to buy walking shoes the following day in Tyndrum making my walk much more... More
