Me and my buddy were walking up the west highland way when we stumbled upon this campsite while we were pretty much dead on our feet. We set up for 7.50 each for one night and enjoyed the indoor cooking facilities, showers and toilets. The bar is also very atmospheric, full of random nick nacks and that night we watched... More

Firstly, as a location, setting and set up it's really good, there are lots of camping space and perfect for WHW but some things went a bit wrong after this visit. People want to visit the drovers Inn, why wouldn't they? But to stop people coming back after 11pm is shocking. I arrived, set up and got to bar via... More

We stayed here while walking the West Highland Way and I loved it!! We booked a bed and breakfast and we were pleasantly surprised at large the cabin was. The room was large and very comfortable with a nice large shower. There was also a washer and dryer available, with free detergent, so that after 4 days on the trail... More

Decent facilities, nice bar, there's a guitar hanging up in the bar that you can borrow if you're musically gifted. Nice atmosphere. Hot showers and a kitchen/food preparation area which is sheltered. Wood burner/Fire Pit in the beer garden area also adds to the experience. Only downside is the metal sliding gate and lack of signage re the 11 PM... More

After a long slog up the side of Loch Lomond we were delighted to arrive at Beinglas where we had booked bed and breakfast. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, our room was out in a large cabin affair. The room was large well equipped and clean, lovely hot shower! Bed was also very comfy. Had our evening meal in... Having done two Munro's yesterday nearby Beinglas campsite I decided to camp overnight there. Having stayed there a few years ago I recalled it a decent campsite. Unfortunately there seems to have been a change in the approach to allow folks to come and go to the local pub The Drovers beyond 11pm. I would have no issue if this... More

I done the west highland way 11 years ago and remember this as an unremarkable site and did not stop there. This time round I had been advised by many to stay there for the night, and I wasn't disappointed. It was an excellent campsite with lots of well maintained level pitches, a great wee bar / diner that done... More

I've stayed at Beinglas Farm several times over the years and watched it develop from a simple campsite in the field next to the Farmhouse to what it is now - a place where anyone walking the West Highland Way can stop or stay. As well as chalets and B&B the bar and restaurant are just what's needed after a... More

Just spent one night camping at Benglass while doing the West Highland Way. Wonderful wee campsite, absolutely excellent facilities- showers, washing up station and great drying room. Highly recommended.

We always stay here in a chalet whilst walking the West Highland Way and it never fails to be welcoming, clean, great food, lovely staff and great breakfast. The accommodation is lovely with a massive bed and great shower room. We will always return.
