My friend and I have just spent 6 days at this hotel with Highland Heritage Holidays and cannot fault it in any way. The bus drivers, tours, friendly, efficient staff at the hotel, food, cleanliness where all superb. Can't wait for our next visit.

A nice hotel surrounded by masses of flowers, which I enjoy. My room no 6 a single room was excellent towels changed when required, housekeeping in room excellent, fluffy white dressing gown to wear, a nice touch after a long day. Meals were good, entertainment on some nights excellent, other nights adequate. But everyone enjoys different things. Trips out each... More

I booked a stay at this hotel because my wife & I have travelled with "Lochs & Glens" on several occasions & have exhausted all options & tours. We stayed from 3rd- 10th August, found that the hotel needs renovation, but, having said that, our room was acceptable. The annoying part is, that the bed linen was NOT changed all... More

The food was the best we've ever had - absolutely fantastic. Beautiful position, constant hot water and the evening entertainment was top class. Maybe it was a little tired - new bedding and decoration wouldn't go amiss, but all in all we loved it. There's even a railway station 5 mins walk away if you decide not to go on... More

We stayed here as part of a coach trip holiday. Value for money was fantastic. Meals were well presented and served with military precision. We really enjoyed the days out on the coach and saw much more than we would have if we had gone on our own in the car. Evening entertainment was good fun and we even managed... More

First the good points...good attentive staff food Ok for the money paid....but here's the bad bits... "faulty towers" decor out of date and very shabby...outside looks Ok till you get close then it's shabby. ..bathroom. ..don't expect much here either..not much bigger than a twin wardrobe and sink was in bedroom. ..hotel in need of total refurbishment...requires proper sized bathrooms... My wife and I have just returned from a very best of Scotland tour with Highland Heritage based at the Royal Hotel in Tyndrum. What can I say, the hotel is classed as 3 star and you get what you pay for, the room was comfortable enough and included a flat screen TV useful for watching the extra time of... More
