We arrived at 8pm on Friday (Sept 12th) and were greeted by Cameron, Cathy and another young man, all were so welcoming, helpful and really couldn't have done more to help. Cameron in particular remained on hand for the weekend, always offering a "hello" and "how are you Mike", recommendations for walks and other local attractions. The park itself is... More

Stayed for a few nights in one of the luxury huts. Very nice if you don't fancy the tent. The park was absolutely spotless, so well maintained it was perfect with excellent facilities. Wonderful people running the place, nothing was too much bother, extremely accommodating. Will return next year with the children without a doubt. Book in now, you will... More

We hired a luxury hiker hut for our family of three (including a toddler). It was extremely clean and had the convenience of a microwave, heater, kettle and even a TV! I've had experience of a few campsites when we walked the West Highland way a few years ago and thought the standard of Pinetrees really stood out. I used... More

I was walking the West a Highland Way and came across Pine Trees, I booked in to one of the hikers huts. The hut was ideal, 2 beds, kettle, cups and heater, with fresh drinking water behind. The toilets and showers were exceptionally clean. There's a well stock shop, the site is immaculate and most of all the owners could... More

We stayed in the Octolodge for a week. The whole site was spotless. The toilet block was immaculate even in the rain. The midge machines really worked. Some friends of ours were in a nearby campsite and were bitten badly. Cameron and Kathy really worked at keeping the site spic and span and went out of their way to talk... More

We ditched the tents & stopped in the Hiker huts which were immaculately clean. The wardens are super friendly with fantastic local knowledge. There is a small shop on site which sells the essentials with the Green Welly store 5 minutes walk away. There were a number of metal stands to cook on and plenty of pub style bench and... More

I think it is really weird to have a campsite by the west highland way and not allow walkers to use the toilet and this toilet was on lockdown. I am surprised they didnt issue each guest with a photo ID pass to use it. I think if the owners provided a little seperate toilet for the WHW people or... More

A lovely park in a beautiful area. We had a great spot for our van (pitch 67) nice spacious hardstanding and with water and ariel socket for the tv. The park was spotless and very clean. Toilet block was kept to a high standard. Friendly staff and always said hello when they saw you. We loved the park so much... More

We had our first camping trip here last summer. Such a great campsite in a lovely location. The kids loved the playpark and the river which runs through the back of the park. The facilities were excellent, with hot (free!) showers and music played in the washroom! The wee shop was great too. I look forward to staying there again... More

Whatever you do, don't turn up in a hired car/van identified as such as even although you are a 'private' traveller the uberkommandant(s) will deem it a 'commercial' vehicle and assign you and your car to separate areas miles apart; not great for access to supplies! Poor customer service we thought. Had to remind myself on 'inspection' after arrival that... More
