We spent one night last week at Tigh-Na-Fraoch bed and breakfast while walking the West Highland Way. The room was lovely, very clean and and peaceful with a view of a pretty stream from the window. The location close to the station (no noise whatsoever of trains) was perfect for us as we had a day's rest in Tyndrum and... More

We stayed there one night during our west highland way walk. When we arrived we were met with freshly baked scones, the, butter and jam. We had long chat and some laughs with Heather. Our room was great and spacious. Breakfast was standard for most B&Bs but that does not mean it wasn't well made. I definitely recommend this place

Like a lot of people me and my 2 friends stayed here whilst walking the West Highland Way and yes it is only a stones throw from the path. Such a lovely warm welcome from Heather and she even sat with us listening to our day whilst we had scones and tea, she must have heard about the route so... More

Great B&B on the West Highland Way. Greeted with tea and scones on arrival by super landlady whose friendly manner and warmth made it all the more enjoyable. Us 'Highland Dames' will be back again one day!

We stayed here after finishing the 1st half of the West Highland Way in June. Location is great- literally just off the path and only a few minutes walk away from the pubs in the village. Rooms are fine- decor is a bit dated and chintzy but they are spacious and clean. The owner was really friendly and welcomed us... More

This was right on the West Highland Way so ideal for us. Nice big room, en suite and a good shower. We were made very welcome by the owner who made us a coffee on arrival. All lovely and clean. Good breakfast to set us up for the day - fresh grapefruit and fresh trout - all beautifully cooked.

Tigh na Fraoch (House of Heather) is situated only 50 metres from the West Highland Way (righthand side after the camping site) and ideal for a night in Tyndrum. Tigh na Fraoch offers basic rooms in a basic house without any frills. Despite the somehow outdated interior everything is clean and there are no signs of tirement. The owner, Heather,... More

Once again Heather was welcoming with tea and cake on our arrival having walked from Ardlui on the West Highland Way. The fresh trout for breakfast was delicious and really nothing is too much trouble for her. We will always return to this b and b.

Location was good for West Highland Way hikers. Close to trail and close to main road in the village where you can get a bite to eat, there is a nice pub at the Tyndrum Inn or supplies at the Green Welly Stop or Brodies Store. There is also a Tourist Information Center. We were met at the door by... More

Warm welcome with tea and cake. Very friendly. Very clean, the most comfortable beds on the west highland way so far. Excellent breakfast. Lovely place to stay. Had a triple room with separate bathroom that had a bath. Just what was needed.
