Stayed here overnight after walking from Drymen and found it to be really lovely and welcoming. My husband, myself and my daughter shared a room which was spacious, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The owners were lovely and took us to the hotel along the road and picked us up again after dinner. Breakfast was delicious, all in all, the... More

Stayed at this cottage when walking the WHW recently. I arrived in the area much earlier than the check-in time so had to kill 3 hours (no complaint on this point as that is the deal but all other places on the walk were flexible on this point). Very friendly welcome and nice room ..I'd paid for 2 people but... More

My son and I were walking the West Highland Way and stopped here on our second night. I really appreciated that our hosts knew the trail well and had walked it themselves. The room was spotlessly clean and the best part was getting to soak in a bathtub after a long day's walk (most of the other places only had... More

Stayed here while walking the West Highland Way, we were soaked but had a good drying room, big bedroom but was a bit cold as the heating was not on. No TV and no lock on the room which was a bit strange. The owner ran us down to the local hotel and picked us up which was a nice... More

Fiona and her husband are lovely hosts and the property is isolated and peaceful. From the time Fiona answered the door it was obvious to me that my one night stop would be more than acceptable. The welcome was very warm, the room was large, bright, well decorated and clean. Fiona and her husband were very accommodating even offering a... More

We stayed one night in this lovely bed and breakfast. The host came to our rescue after we walked an extra 2 miles trying to find the place. He drove us to the hotel for dinner and next morning drove us to where we stopped the day before. The room was perfect, the breakfast excellent with a choice of cooked... More

We stayed here as part of the accommodation on the West Highland Way. Large room, however, tiny showerroom and the central heating wasn't very hot, which was a problem as it had poured down with rain all day. Also we didn't have a lock on our room door, which we found quite odd, don't know how we would have faired... More

My husband and I stayed one night at the Coille Mhor between the second and third stage of the west highland way walk. We had a room on the first floor - quite small under the roof but clean and cosy. The place is situated In a quiet environment about one mile outside Rowardennan, and Fiona was so kind to... More

We stayed here while hiking the West Highland Way. Fiona and Neil have a lovely, spacious and spotless home. Our room was on the top floor, quiet and private, with a comfortable sitting place on the landing. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean, with ample towels. Neil drove us to the Rowardennan hotel for dinner, and... More
