We had a few beers in the Rhu Inn, on a very cold and wet January afternoon, but what was more welcoming was the lovely warm open fire, The staff were very welcoming and service was really quick, we really enjoyed our visit, would make this my regular watering hole if I was a local.

A traditional Scottish pub. A welcome escape from the foul weather we've had of late and the chance to dry off my soaking wet jacket and trousers in front of the roaring fire. It wouldn't win a beauty competition, but who cares? It's the best pub for miles around with top notch bar staff, a great pint, excellent coffee and... More

The accommodation at the Rhu Inn is on the 1st floor above the bar, which consists of 5 rooms. There is a shared toilet and a shower room, which were kept clean. My room contained a single bed, pushed against a wall, with wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinet. There was a wall mounted TV, a small kettle and... More

Visited here during an overnight stay at Rhu Marina, about 5 minutes walk away. Lots of local customers and a lively atmosphere on a busy Bank Holiday Sunday night. Great beer and company in a proper old fashioned pub with a friendly face behind the bar. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Rhu.

Chose this inn at random for a three day stay. This is a thriving (but a bit scruffy) village inn and as such there are noise problems particularly on Friday which is music night. Do not let this put you off; just enjoy the music and atmosphere and the stunning views over the Clyde from the front rooms. Room 2... More
