This guesthouse was on a charming location right by the water edge, absolutely idyllic, and still close enough to the viallage to walk (about 20-30 mins). We stayed in a room that was situated in one of the outhouses which was perfect as we had our own wee terrace with tables and chair outside and also, two comfy chairs inside... more

Quite Possibly The Best Little Guest House On Loch Lomond!! A pretty big comment but we stand by that. Lovely room overlooking the loch, amazing breakfasts - nothing is too much trouble, glorious views, perfectly located for travelling that (beautiful) area of Scotland and all run by perfect hosts!! Will be staying there again :-) MIke & Conny more

Beautiful setting at side of Loch Lomond with Ben Lomond on the far shore. We stayed one night over the Easter weekend in room 6. Compact yet completely functional room - fridge, kettle, toaster and general cutlery all supplied. Well equiped shower room with good shower and comfy bed! Double doors which opened onto courtyard with internal table and chairs.... more

Stayed here for 2 nights at Easter weekend, and without doubt one of the best guest houses I have stayed in. The room had a fantastic view from the lounge and bedroom and Patrick our host made us feel very welcome. This is a must for anyone wanting to see Scotland at its best. We had our evening meals at... more

We stayed for three nights. We booked the luxury room, which had views straight on to the loch from both the sitting room and the bedroom. If this room is not available when you book, don't despair, as many if not all the rooms have views on to the loch. Six of the rooms are in a separate block, and... more

We spent 2 nights at Culag at the beginning of February. We had a great room...... well it was a mini apartment really and looked directly out onto the Loch where the view was stunning. The room was lovely and clean with everything we needed. Breakfast was great and set us up well for the day.Luckily the weather was so... more

Just came back from a short weekend away from home and stayed at Culag for 1 night. Loved the place, and the view obviously. Although we had booked 2 rooms, we had no problem to change for a familly room once on site as it was actually best for us. We had a great view from our bedroom direct to... more

We had a 2-night stay to coincide with a Red Letter Day seaplane trip (even though the planes takes off and lands at the Guest House, this doesn't seem to be widely advertised. Odd as it is THE place to stay). Our Host Patrick is a lovely fella, who simply couldn't do enough for us - he gave us a... more

We recently stayed one night at the Culag after reading the reviews on TA. As stated by others, it is certainly a wonderful, above average B&B experience just north of Luss and Loch Lomond Shores with beautiful views. Patrick, the owner, greeted us warmly and showed us to our room which was in a cluster of rooms seperate from the... more
