Culag Lochside Date: 11th June 2009 Reviewer: Mrs Mandy Taylor, Bolton What a fantastic place! We stayed at Culag for 2 nights to end our honeymoon. My husband and I thought our honeymoon in the Dominican Republic was paradise, but Culag was heaven. Patrick the host was simply the best, he was our chauffeur, our barman, our boat captain and... more

We verbally book on leaving one year ready for the next year. We did this July 08 ready for July 09 and because Patrick knew us we did not get anything in writing nor... more

Yet another unreservedly positive review, I'm afraid! This beautifully situated guest house is clearly a labour of love for the owner, Patrick, who runs the Culag Lochside with a relaxed friendliness that is both infectious and welcome after the long drive from south of the border. The breakfasts are delicious and most of the ingredients (I am told) are locally... more

I found this B&B on trip advisor & I'm so pleased I did my research. Patrick, the owner obviously knows his stuff & when it comes to offering a warm welcome & friendly service, I don't think many could beat it.There's a rare sense of relaxed professionalism about the running of Culag that's hard to put into words. You simply... more

This is an amazing guest house in a beautiful location. It is so relaxing and very quiet & it has it's own sea plane station right outside. Patrick & his wife were so hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. The price was also exellent. I would recommend a visit without a doubt. My husband and myself will hopefully be... more

The separate rooms about the courtyard make it ideal for a family with babies or kids or indeed for a party who may enjoy staying up late enjoying the location and a few drinks overlooking the lake. The Breakfast is good and you can enjoy the ducks, dogs, and the lakeside while you eat. more

Just spent a night at this B&B. It is in a wonderful location right on Loch Lomond. Friendly hosts and a tasty breakfast. We stayed in a room in converted buildings outside the main house and they could not be faulted - modern, clean and spacious with french doors onto a courtyard and views onto the stunning Loch. Definetly ask... more

The guest house was in a very convenient location and we thought the standard of accommodation and facilities was good and an excellent setting to explore the local area. Our apartment was clean, well appointed and had an impressive amount of conveniences however we felt the bed in our room was very uncomfortable due to a very low quality mattress.... more
