We stayed in The Beach House which was lovely. Our room was clean and modern and it was great to be just next to the loch. Luckily, the people staying above us were relatively thoughtful and tried to be quiet walking across their floor, as the floorboards were rather noisy. There was a super TV in the room which unfortunately... More

We stayed in the Beach House, on the edge of the Loch. The scenery from our window was beautiful, especially when it stopped raining. It was perfect to get away from the world as there was neither phone signal nor WiFi. There was a landline for emergencies. The room was very clean and cosy with en-suite. Meals were in the... More

Stayed 10th to 14th Aug 2014 in Beach house, 'beach' area could be made so much more appealing but the view was spectacular. Room was overlooking the main road and there was quite a bit of noise from the traffic, window would benefit from extra glazing. Room was very nice, clean and spacious but, the towel rail didn't come on,... More

We were two adults and a toddler in an executive room. There was plenty of space and the furnishings were of good quality, although well-used. The staff were all very friendly. The lunch and dinner menus were limited, but the portions were a good size and the good was tasty. There were, however, a number of issues that I would... More

Although the wedding was not at the Inn on the Loch, we chose this hotel because of its deal. Looking at some reviews we were a bit apprehensive about staying there, so did a recce with some friends a couple of months ago to see what it was like. We found the staff in the restaurant very helpful, but also... More

Stayed here whilst attending the Commonwealth Games. I do not want to be too critical about this hotel because it has many plus points but the negative thing was the noise. We had room 107 at the front of the hotel which had great views out over the Loch. But with this you get the traffic noise and vehicles on... More

We stayed at Loch Lomond in this hotel from 23/07/14 to 29/07/14 and travelled into Glasgow for the Games. The location opposite the Loch is fabulous and we had a Loch Lomond room, facing the loch with a beautiful view. The room was spacious and bathroom very smart. There is lot's of free car parks in Balloch centre so we... More

Room was quite large, basic with a good shower/ bathroom suitable for disabled. Bed was pretty hard and there was noise from the kitchen nearby. Breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Could do with a lick of paint in places to reflect the price of the room. Use of the sister hotel spa was an... More

Stayed here for 4 nights during the common wealth games. Cosy inn with comfortable rooms and great views of the loch. Easy 40 minute drive to Glasgow, friendly service and good food. Balloch and Luss nearby are both worth having a wonder around - sea life centre and bird of prey sanctuary was really good. I would definitely stay at... More

Hubby and I stopped off here after visiting the highlands. Staff were very friendly, bar and surroundings, very relaxing. I had the haddock which was perfectly cooked, and my husband had the giant cod, which was huge, but he managed it all. Well presented food. If we are up on our travels again, would definitely come back again.
