I have eaten here before and the food was good but I would certainly not recommend anyone dines here. On my last visit I ordered haggis to start which was cold apart from the mashed potato bottom, main course we both ordered steakpie which arrived with the pie lid barely cooked (still soggy and hard in the middle), veg hard... I had lunch here with my son and friend on a beautiful summers day. The food was very nice a bit expensive but it is so beautiful I did not mind. Will be going back soon. There was a wedding in the hotel that day which looked lovely and this did not affect the service which was good as they... More

With fond memories of our last stay 4 years ago, we booked two nights in the beach house and returned on 11th July..the location hadn't changed but the experience certainly did..bordering on rude at times, the waiting staff were disorganised and disinterested, breakfast, lunch and dinner..when we walked into our bathroom in 301 we were hit with an overpowering smell... This review is for lunch only. Like every coin, this review has two sides, my wife's who realistically would have given it a two, where I could have happily give it a four. The food was well presented, however my wife's Macaroni was on the cold side, on the other hand my burger was good in all aspects. The Inn... More

We enjoyed an excellent night at The Inn on Saturday 3rd May for my sisters hen weekend. Although we didn't stay in the hotel we received excellent service from all of the staff in the restaurant and then later in the bar. The staff were so friendly and could not have made us feel more welcome. To finish off our... More

Spectacular location but looking a little tired on first impressions. I wonder if this hotel has been overlooked a little in favor of its sister hotel, the very nice Lodge on Loch Lomond. We were given a room suitable for a wheelchair user in line with our request for ground floor adapted bathroom with walk in shower. Although we have... More

Visited The Inn on Loch Lomond having seen the mixed reviews on Tripadvisor. We decided to give the place a chance as it seemed the staff were keen to improve standards. Booked the Romantic Getaway package... So the room, evening meal and breakfast were included, as well as some chocolate dipped strawberries and prosecco on arrival. Nice greeting at reception... Easy to find and lots of parking. Reception is located almost in the bar! and if they are busy you may need to poke your head to let them know you are there! :) The room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom had an amazing shower. room 101 has a nice view of the Loch. The bed is... More

Ate here quite a few times over the last few years on road home from our caravan in Lochgoilhead. We've always enjoyed what we've ate and love the décor/surroundings of the hotel, but wouldn't fancy staying for more than one or two nights - only due to menu as think it would be quite limited as fish n chip supper,... Stayed here for 2 nights, return visit on 11-13 the July. Was faced with the rudest and most unprofessional "Receptionist" that I've ever encountered. No niceties or pleasantries, just a curt "Your room won't be ready until 3 p as in terms of your booking!" OK then.... Room was also disappointing. Had booked the nicer Beach
