Being visitors to Shantron for some 15 years we return time and again , for the friendliness , accommodation and location is second to none. There is nothing that Anne and Bobby will stop at to make one's stay enjoyable , from travel advice to overall general assistance . We are so lucky to know them. Shantron is a second... More

we stayed a week and travel from here, Anne an family are the best, (also) as trip advisors you can have. You can travel a lot of the country from here, either drive or train. The relaxed atmosphere is fantastic, The breakfast is great an all you can ever ask for. If we ever get to come back to Scotland... More

My cousins and I were traveling on a 4 day tour of Scotland and booked this B&B for our first night's lodging. The farm is slightly off the main highway in the Loch Lomond area, but easily accessible. Our rooms, both with attached bath's, were clean, well supplied with fresh linens, toiletries and also a tea/coffee service. There were homemade... More

My husband and I stayed two nights and very much enjoyed it. It has a wonderful pastoral feeling with the sheep baa-ing in the pasture and a lovely view down to the loch. Annie provides lots of great information and assistance in planning outings both on and off the farm. Breakfast was good and the home baked shortbread was yummy.... More

We asked at the local tourist office for a B&B with a view of Loch Lomond. With their help we reserved a room at Shantron Farm and we were delighted. Shantron Farm is a working sheep farm run by Anne and Bobby Lennox. The site itself is wonderful with a beautiful view over Loch Lomond and surrounding area. There are... More

We stayed for one night and found Shantron Farm very pleasant. Lovely room and views. Anne was very nice and made us feel 'at home'. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the Homemade Shortbread was amazing. We ate in the evening at The Rest in Luss. Very good meal and vfm

We had some car trouble on the road outside Shantron Farm yesterday. We were trying to turn our car on the main road and it got stuck in the mud and very nearly slid into a ditch. With our car hanging precariously on a slope and with no hope of getting out under our own power, a lovely Scottish couple,... More

We had a great 3 night stay. Anne was very welcoming and provided us with whatever we needed, including toys for our 3 year old and a cot for our 7 week old. The view is idyllic and the breakfasts were delicious. The B&B is very quiet and a lovely place to retreat to each day. Anne was very helpful... More

This is a lovely farm-based B&B with wonderful views of the surroundings. Ann the host is wonderful - very friendly and accomodating and keen to pass on local knowledge. The only thing to note is that getting something to eat in the evenings means a long walk or short drive. But the B&B itself is great.
