My husband and I stayed two nights and very much enjoyed it. It has a wonderful pastoral feeling with the sheep baa-ing in the pasture and a lovely view down to the loch. Annie provides lots of great information and assistance in planning outings both on and off the farm. Breakfast was good and the home baked shortbread was yummy.... More

We asked at the local tourist office for a B&B with a view of Loch Lomond. With their help we reserved a room at Shantron Farm and we were delighted. Shantron Farm is a working sheep farm run by Anne and Bobby Lennox. The site itself is wonderful with a beautiful view over Loch Lomond and surrounding area. There are... More

We stayed for one night and found Shantron Farm very pleasant. Lovely room and views. Anne was very nice and made us feel 'at home'. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the Homemade Shortbread was amazing. We ate in the evening at The Rest in Luss. Very good meal and vfm

We had some car trouble on the road outside Shantron Farm yesterday. We were trying to turn our car on the main road and it got stuck in the mud and very nearly slid into a ditch. With our car hanging precariously on a slope and with no hope of getting out under our own power, a lovely Scottish couple,... More

We had a great 3 night stay. Anne was very welcoming and provided us with whatever we needed, including toys for our 3 year old and a cot for our 7 week old. The view is idyllic and the breakfasts were delicious. The B&B is very quiet and a lovely place to retreat to each day. Anne was very helpful... More

This is a lovely farm-based B&B with wonderful views of the surroundings. Ann the host is wonderful - very friendly and accomodating and keen to pass on local knowledge. The only thing to note is that getting something to eat in the evenings means a long walk or short drive. But the B&B itself is great.

We were entertained by engaging hosts Anne and Bobby. It was a privilege to be able to walk around their farm. The house enjoys stunning views over Loch Lomond. The rooms are clean and well supplied. Anne's cooking is a highlight. From home baking on arrival to a stunning breakfast. The lemon honey was the best I have tasted and... More

We stayed at Shantron farm in August 2010 for two nights and we had a wonderful time. The owners- Anne and Bobby were extremely friendly, and Anne was especially in helping us to organise day trips, our driving routes and even calling a distillery to check if they were open. Breakfast in the mornings was delicious and fresh, and in... More

The farm is beautiful and the views are absolutely gorgeous but the interior is really dated and frilly (old wallpaper, fabric headboards, yikes!) and old and the walls are very thin. We could hear our neighbors quite clearly down the hall. I'm sure it's a good deal for the area, and for a family, but it's not for a romantic... More
