We stayed for 2 nights at the Clachan Cottage, and it was a lovely quiet break away. There's not much in the surrounding area but it was perfect for what we wanted - a peaceful break away from everything. The hotel is lovely and clean with a restaurant attached which supplies lovely food. Would definitely recommend this to family and... More

This is a bit of a mixed review, and has to be split into the stay itself and service afterwards.  Our stay was lovely. Our room was enormous and brilliant situated in the corner of the building giving us the front view over the loch as well as side views down the length of the loch. The views around the... More

I see the replies from the 'management' are still as charming as ever. Do your self a favour and stay anywhere else. Shockingly bad customer service. Rooms and food. But of course just someone else being vindictive..

Four of us spent 2 nights here on a B&B deal. Rooms have been recently refurbished and although not particularly large are fresh and clean. Excellent views over the loch towards Ben Vorlich. Only drawback is having no wardrobe, just a rail with a few hangers on it. Bathroom was fine with good powerful shower, albeit in a very cramped... More

£96 for two people for two nights b&b so I can make no complaint about the price. The hotel is actually quite nice, maybe not the most modern but that's ok, it is not without a certain charm. The reception is not manned but we met the manager almost right away. He thoughtfully offered us a choice of two rooms... More

First Impressions are really good, a very friendly welcome at 10pm, we were a lot later than we had expected to be, we were upgraded to a Loch View Room as someone had cancelled during the day and as we had used a discount voucher we were not expecting that, breakfast was very nice and plentiful with very friendly staff... We spent the weekend here from 31st October to 2nd November and it was a fantastic break. The hotel was excellent, the food was lovely and the staff couldn't have done enough. We had a room facing onto the loch and it was just lovely looking out over the loch and we were very lucky with the weather.

What a fantastic location with breathtaking views across Loch Earn! Large, spotless and comfortable room with very comfy beds. We stayed for 2 nights on a Wowcher deal at the end of August and will be coming back. The food was typical menu fayre only really tasty. Our room was above the reception but we weren't affected by any noise... More

We stayed here on a two-night break at the end of October and found the hotel to be really delightful! The room we stayed in, while it didn't have a loch view, was spotlessly clean with tea and coffee making facilities and a very comfy bed. The bathroom was really modern. On the whole the room was very quaint and... More
