My partner friends and i stayed in this hotel for two nights . The bedrooms were modern, clean, warm and comfy with a fantastic view over the loch , the hotel was very peaceful and quiet, the staff were lovely , the food was so tasty, ( i recommend the steak pie.)There is not much to do round about the hotel but... We stayed here in april last year and gave this hotel an excellent review, this stay wasn't a patch on last time. Firstly when arriving we had to go to the bar to ask for service to check in as the sign instructed, the lady on the bar was by herself and we had to wait in reception for 10... More

Our daughter bought us this two night bed and breakfast break on a voucher deal and we really enjoyed the peace and quiet (Thursday/Friday) of our stay. Room 22 is a good sized double with a huge comfy bed and modern shower room. It was warm and quiet. It also had a huge walk in cupboard and single bedroom which... More

We stayed for 2 nights at the Clachan Cottage, and it was a lovely quiet break away. There's not much in the surrounding area but it was perfect for what we wanted - a peaceful break away from everything. The hotel is lovely and clean with a restaurant attached which supplies lovely food. Would definitely recommend this to family and... More

This is a bit of a mixed review, and has to be split into the stay itself and service afterwards.  Our stay was lovely. Our room was enormous and brilliant situated in the corner of the building giving us the front view over the loch as well as side views down the length of the loch. The views around the... More

I see the replies from the 'management' are still as charming as ever. Do your self a favour and stay anywhere else. Shockingly bad customer service. Rooms and food. But of course just someone else being vindictive..

my wife and I went here for her birthday excellent view of the loch bedroom is of average size as it doesn't have a wardrope the rail with a few coat hangers may be a drawback for some if spending more time here. Food was good

Four of us spent 2 nights here on a B&B deal. Rooms have been recently refurbished and although not particularly large are fresh and clean. Excellent views over the loch towards Ben Vorlich. Only drawback is having no wardrobe, just a rail with a few hangers on it. Bathroom was fine with good powerful shower, albeit in a very cramped... More

£96 for two people for two nights b&b so I can make no complaint about the price. The hotel is actually quite nice, maybe not the most modern but that's ok, it is not without a certain charm. The reception is not manned but we met the manager almost right away. He thoughtfully offered us a choice of two rooms... More

First Impressions are really good, a very friendly welcome at 10pm, we were a lot later than we had expected to be, we were upgraded to a Loch View Room as someone had cancelled during the day and as we had used a discount voucher we were not expecting that, breakfast was very nice and plentiful with very friendly staff...
