We are a regular vistor the The Locherarnhead Hotel, and always have a very enjoyable stay. The rooms are lovely and bright and have amazing views if you are lucky enough to get a loch view room. The food is excellant, freshly prepared, local produce. As soon as we arrive, we feel instantly relaxed. You cannot beat gazing out the... more

We have had numerous stays at the Lochearnhead Hotel over the last few years, and it only gets better. The views are second to none and the food which is prepared and cooked by Robert the owner cannot be beaten. Roberts wife Amanda is normally found at front of house looking after the reception and bar. The rooms are kept... more

We stayed here for a very enjoyable and relaxing 3 nights at the beginning of May 08 in twin rooms with beautiful lochside views. The rooms were spotless and everything worked as it should do. We found Robert and Amanda to be very friendly and helpful. The food was very good and, although only on bed and breakfast basis, we... more

This hotel has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. It is clean, comfortable and provides everything you need. Wonderful views can be enjoyed from the lounge, bar and restaurant, where the food can only be described as excellent. Robert and Amanda could not have been more helpful and their sightseeing suggestions made all the difference. Good value for money and highly recommended.... more

A group of 21(lively) friends and family stayed here for my husbands 40th birthday. The views are out of this world. The rooms are large and spotlessly clean. Robert and Amandas wonderful hospitality made it such a special time for us all. Every member of the party has vowed to go back. This is probably the best hotel we have... more

Why head off to foreign countries when you can stay in Scotland with its spectacular scenery... Even a foggy day in February gives something ethereal about looking over the loch from Lochearnhead Hotel as the sun comes up over the hills. The hotel is situated ideally to give a magnificent changing picture. Robert and Amanda, the host and hostess, welcome... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Even though it was only one night, we did have our anniversary dinner here. The food was excellent. For dinner we had roasted tomato soup, kipper & whisky mousse appetizer. Our main courses were venison & current pie and roasted local trout with fresh cooked vegetables. We had a twin room which overlooked Loch... more

A gem of a hotel in an idyllic setting. The service was excellent and the room spacious, comfortable and had a fantastic view of the loch. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and extemely well presented, as were the 2 evening meals that we enjoyed very much and the bonus of lovely wine not over priced Thrpoughly... more

This is a delightful small hotel in a good location at the northern end of the Trossachs area--an hour's drive or so from Glasgow and from Stirling and close to many of the region's attractions. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable and the loch-side rooms have huge windows looking out over the hills and the loch--beautiful in all weather... more

Very comfortable and a pleasure to stay here. We were welcomed warmly and had a very pleasant room overlooking the Loch. We were on a B & B basis , but local advice said that the best meals were to be had at the Hotel , so we had our evening meal there as well. Excellent food, with plently of... more
