We stayed here on the basis of reviews but this guest house was taken over by new owners last year. Although the rooms were clean and adequate, the garden has been completely neglected, spoiling the appearance of this lovely building. The cooked breakfast was very disappointing - poor quality produce and very small portions. I really could not recommend this... more

This B&B has everything one needs, but I feel there is no reason for the adoration other reviews award it. We've been in many places in Scotland that are just as good and very similar. It's reasonably standard - nothing stands out for me. The only gripes I had were only 4 TV channels (with over 40 potentially available with... more

This B&B is definitely more 4* than 3*. Very friendly owners, great location, spacious room & guest area, superb breakfast. Bedroom decor was a little dated & not many tv channels (probably the same in all of Killin), but it was very clean and had everything I needed. Far superior than many 4* b&bs I've stayed at. more

We stayed here for three comfortable and cozy nights in October as a base for exploring the area. It was number one compared to other B & B's due to the modern rooms and bathrooms, comfortable large bed, and delicious breakfast. John was more then helpful with day trip ideas from hiking to whisky tasting and castle viewing. more

A friend and I just came back from a 3 week visit of Scotland and this was the best accommodation we had during the entire trip. From the moment we walked in the door we felt welcome and cared for. John and Cath are the best people you will ever meet. They are genuinely caring people, with very big hearts.... more

Bit of a last minute booking – by luck, we happened to come across Drumfinn... What a great find. Lovely room (looked recently redecorated), fantastic breakfast (amazing fruit salad and berries) and lovely friendly welcome (without being intrusive). Will definitely be returning; hopefully in winter for some snowy walking (lots of Munros within a short drive). more

We stayed for one night at this B & B and I was very impressed with the decor, friendly welcome and especially the breakfast which is ordered the night before from an extensive menu. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and en suite. There is also a comfortable lounge for guests use. John the host was friendly and welcoming without... more

We, two folks from New York, traveled through England and Scotland for 10 days in March 2007. We stayed at nine different places, ranging from guest houses to B&Bs to large, American style hotels. Drumfinn was the best place we stayed by far. John is kind, welcoming, and wise without being overbearing. The room was beautiful and had the absolutely... more

Only stayed one night in the passing but will definately return. Accomodation and breakfast superior. John has every right to be proud of his porridge, even folk who think they do not like it, do!! Everything is catered for, right down to umbrellas for the odd occasion it rains in Scotland!! Any info needed is provided and more beside. Being... more
