My husband and I spent one night here on our touring honeymoon and loved it. The village is beautiful itself and we thought this little hotel was a star. It has a variety of areas including sun terrace, lounge, 2 restaurants and a fab bar with roaring fires. We booked a 4-poster room which had a lovely view over the... more

We stayed at the Killin Hotel for seven days. This is a very convenient hotel for seeing all parts of Scotland if you are looking for a "home base". It's a bit off the main roads, but most everything is a day trip from here. The rooms were very nice, and the staff was very helpful!! We would return here... more

I know everyone has their own views and standards, but this place is simply the pits. We arrived at 5:30pm on a wild and stormy February evening. After fighting with the doors against the wind (to close them, not open them!) we waited a few minutes before either of the two staff at the desk condescended to attend to us.... more

Friendly staff and good value, food good and lovely open fires. Bedroom on the small side, slightly shabby in places and bed a bit hard, but otherwise nice, with a view of the river. Great location and we were lucky enough to see a roe deer visiting the garden at breakfast. On our second night we ate at the Bridge... more

This Hotel is very welcoming as are the staff. Food is excellent and reasonally priced. The location is breathtaking! We have visited three times now and each time I leave a piece of my heart behind. On one of our trips we had the delight in seeing the red deer, they actually feed in the old grave yard at the... more

A very pleasant stay. The room in which I slept was very nice and with a beautiful view over the river. The dinner was excellent, with a wonderful Balmoral chicken and very good desserts. Recommendable. more

Four of us spent just one night at the hotel but we were made most welcome. Enjoyed a brilliant, reasonably priced meal in the restaurant followed by a relaxing evening in the bar when four of us attempted to complete a hotel supplied jigsaw. Two of us stayed up till nearly midnight and completed three quarters of the puzzle. We... more

This hotel has been awful for years but finally is in good hands! Lots of smiles and great food. At last, there is somewhere to stay in Killin. more

Looks good from the outside but very dated and a bit smelly inside. Expensive for what you get; this is the type of hotel that is only interested in taking your money and not in giving a service. The menu is very restricted and there is obviously a chef who is also restricted. Starters are very basic and bought in... more

Seven of us stayed one night at the Killin Hotel, Killin, Perthshire, Scotland when hillwalking. Staff very friendly. Evening meal (steaks & chips) and self service breakfast very good. Rooms comfortable with good beds, sheets and fantastic shower. Overall 8/10 hotel. Only let down by looking a bit tatty - but it is very clean - and no real ale... more
