Wonderfully located near Loch Lomand, we arrived to be shown to our first floor room. The view was great, room was spacious but the shower was tiny. We had dinner in the conservatory. The mango parcels and loaded nachos where stunning. Breakfast was your standard continental followed by a cooked meal. It was fabulous, with large portions and soft cooked... More

Welcoming, seating, service, food, all awful. We were told on arrival that "hotel residents" are prioritised over visitors and we will have to wait longer!! My nine year old son was lucky not to cut his lip on a chipped glass served to him and they were not even apologetic. Never going again and the hotel has tainted Killin for... More

Went for Sunday lunch. Booked 2 weeks in advance. Turned up to,all be it a busy hotel but the service was slow and unenthusiastic. Had 2 meals on there Sunday roast lunch meal which was beef and chicken.told an hour after opening no beef left but roast pork available. 2 pork chops with gravy was delivered much to our disappointment... Small bedroom on first floor, rooms are so close together i.e. I was standing at the adjacent room door whilst trying to get in our room. Took longer than a usual hotel room to walk in the room as we had to negotiate the bedside cabinet and bed to which the door opened on to. At night the outside lights... More

We arrived at the iKillin hotel and after inspecting the room on the third floor with a roof ladder outside the door, the purpose for which we are unsure. The room was smaller than we have ever experienced, approx. 11ft by10ft. With an en suite 6 x 4 small shower tray, a total disappointment. After speaking with reception we were... More

Sorry it has been so long to put this on tripadvisor but I had misplaced the invoice and photos were downloaded to wrong file! I had booked this trip as a halfway to Ballachullish where we had planned to spend our birthdays in March. I had got a dinner bed and breakfast voucher from itison for £69 and upgraded to... More

Spent just the one night here on a cycling trip. The location at the head of Loch Tay is gorgeous, an impression rather clouded by a disinterested and rushed reception. The rooms are clean and adequately furnished, but no more than standard for this type of hotel. Ensuite facilities were clean and functional. The dining was rather better than the... More

Perfectly positioned at the end of the village on the banks of the Loch. The room was homely and clean with a roomy en suite. The shower could do with a shelf to hold toiletries. Dinner was in the conservatory overlooking the loch, the menu was of a good quality. Service and food quality was very good, both at dinner... More

A comfortable old hotel with easy parking. The (twin) room was spacious, with a generous bathroom and nice deep bath, Comfortable beds with good linen. The lounge downstairs was good for wifi. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the tartanned dining hall was OK and included fresh fruit.

Booked this hotel as lastminute decision as we suddenly changed our tour plan for the day. It was a good deal when i got it hence i decided to book it. Downside: Location is too far. I guess the satnav may have shown us the long and winding road to the hotel. We travelled from inverness to Killin and it... More
