Cannot comment on accommodation but hopefully better than the tea room. Food was dry bordering on being stale - eg scones. Beverages limited and service somewhat mediocre. Will not be returning. Thankfully, this is not average Scottish service.

Again, a fantastic meal at the Falls of Dochart Inn. We have been here seven or eight times with friends and family and have never been let down yet. We were met by Liz who as usual was exuberent and friendly who showed us to our table though we hadn't booked in advance. We were seated in a pleasant cosy... More

We visited Killin yesterday and decided have lunch this inn. Ten minutes later we were asked what we would like to drink. Drinks arrived a few minutes later and the waitress asked what we would like to eat but we had not been given a menu so we asked for menus and our order was eventually taken. In the mean... More

We booked via booking.com about 30 days before our stay. When we arrived the bartender could not find any record of our reservation. He seemed highly put out when we showed him the confirmation email that we had received and grudgingly provided a room. The room itself was a double with an en suite that overlooked the falls. The view... More

had an overnight stay here recently,(myself, partner, 2 young boys). one small issue with the shower tho this was quickly resolved. (im a maintenance engineer in a large hotel, so i cant help notice these things)..overall, a friendly, well situated hotel, ideally located as a base for touring the central highlands. i have no hesitation in thouroughly recommending this hotel,... I dined here a couple of years ago but still remember it well. I had fish and chips. My wife opted for soup and her cousin had the Haggis. Yes! They sell it here. None of us had any complaints. The food was excellent. The beer was also very good although I cannot now remember the brewery. The views outside... More

We only popped into the tea room adjoining the main bar for a quick warm. It was clean and the staff seemed friendly. There are a few gift items for sale in there. The falls are lovely but not very fast flowing at the time we went but have seen pictures of the water much higher and would love to... More

This was a present for Xmas and a location we hadn't thought of but the Killin area is like a step back in time in a nice way,our room overlooked the falls which was nice and probably the reason they get away with charging £95 a night ,bad point is we usually retire early after a days walking and the... Booked in for evening meal, we were looking forward to good food and a warm cosy atmosphere to relax in, after a long days sightseeing. However we were shown in to a very small room, which also accommodated three further tables for two and a table for four. there was hardly room to draw back your chair before bumping into... More

Never let down by the food or the service here! We visit Killin quite alot and whilst we normally stop off here for a drink (or two) we have now eaten there quite a few times after being let down by one of the other local hotels. The food was absolutley amazing, no complaints from us, the staff were greawt... More
