Stopped off at short notice and were dealt with quickly and efficiently. First class meal, Scottish tapas and haggis, neaps and tatties. Beautifully presented and very tasty. Burgers followed, again beautifully presented and tasty. Service great, even though the barmaid was running the bar and waiting on. Only downside the Stella wasn't very nice, might have been in the cask... More

myself & family have visited this hotel to eat in the restaurant for the past three years, as we live locally & have found the food is of good quality, sadly on this occasion the food/service was poor, this is the first time that the quality of food was remarkable different, I had to send my fillet steak(£20.95)back as it... The room was very small, but the bed was really comfortable. Unfortunately there was an extractor fan left on all night on our second night which led to not having a great sleep. However the breakfast was lovely, the staff were really friendly, couldn't do enough for us. Totally spoilt our labrador:-) she had a ball!

My wife and I stayed here over the Easter weekend. It is a lovely place to relax. The location is gorgeous. The pub had a really nice atmosphere with the open fire. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We dined in the restaurant one evening and both really enjoyed the meal. Our room was not big but we still... More

Had three good quality cask ales on and a lovely real fire burning. By far the best pub in the village. Lovely staff and lovely old slate flooded building. The Old woman sat in the corner is rather creepy.............

Old Inn with a lot of atmosphere. Right next to Falls of Dochart - always worth a look. Real fires in the pub and friendly staff. Quite quiet on a Friday night in March. Pub food was OK - average fare. We stayed overnight - rooms are pretty crampt and basic. No shower, but bed was comfortable. Probably what you... More

I came here for a one night stay with my boyfriend. Room was amazing and clean. The view from our room was the falls..fabulous. Dinner was amazing in the bar next to the roaring fire. Will be back. Staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome.

It was exactly what we'd hoped it would be. In the most beautiful location (you could see and hear the falls whilst lying in the gorgeous antique sleigh bed with the comfiest pillows and brilliantly puffy feather duvet) with all the romantic atmosphere of a time gone by. There's a roaring log fire in both the tea room and bar,... More
