We stayed here for two nights in a standard wigwam. Far more spacious than we had imagined, very clean. The wigwams are a short walk downhill to the marina and bistro, there's boat hire etc and I believe in the peak months canoeing etc. We popped into the bistro for some soup, chips, whiskey and a beer on our first... We booked one of the new 'wigwams' with log burner for a family w/e break. We had a friendly welcome and found our wigwam which the kids thought was great. Big double bed - bring your own linen- dirty/soiled mattress cover) and log burner with views (just) down to the loch. the kids beds were brought up later and were... More

I recently organised a tour of the Highlands for over 50 people in their classic Porsches and I booked a number of different types of accommodation; premier wigwams, cabins, 3 & 4 bedroom lodges. We also had exclusive use of the Riverside Restaurant for most of the weekend. As the organiser I was the guy people would come to complain... More

Journey We travelled from Kilmarnock to Killin and it is a couple of hours drive. The roads are quite narrow for a number of miles. The lodges are situated about 4 miles past Killin. The sign comes upon you very quickly and isn't easy to see due to tree foliage. Check-in You go to a small portacabin to get your... More

Just back from a 7 day stay in 'Heron Stone' woodland cabin, whilst a little dated, it was lovely. Location of the cabin was right down on the central green opposite the 'marina' and cafe. Each lodge has slightly different facilities and I was surprised this one didn't have a washing machine (just arrived after two weeks camping) but did... More

Summary: We stayed three nights in the three bedroom Highland lodges during August 2014. The pictures on the website are not similar to the cabin we had which was dated and required to be updated. I understand that the management are in the process of updating all the cabins on the site. The lodges are ideally situated on Loch Tay... More

We stayed in the camping domes and would highly recommend them! Lovely decor, clean and spacious! Beds were comfortable and each some positioned so that you have your own privacy and are not too disturbed by other campers. Enjoyed chilling by a log fire each night. Facilities on campsite were also lovely- clean toilets and showers in a separate building... More
