We decided on a wee road trip to pop into The Coach House as we had enjoyed a visit 2 years ago. Family run back then and The Family are still very much in control. Everyone of them roll up there sleeves and provide a great experience, great breakfast, great bar and great music provided by Ted Christopher. All round... More

A very friendly bed & breakfast in a lovely double fronted Victorian building with views overlooking the River Tay. The dining room ceiling is a joy and the live music on Saturday evening was a very welcome bonus! 😊 🎸 🎻 🎸

The room we stayed in was the Lochay. It was a lovely spacious room with an excellent view over the river. The corner shower unit, though tight for space, was extremely powerful. The bar is warm and cosy and has a good array of malt whiskies, all at very reasonable prices and the staff are attentive and easy to speak... More

We popped in for a drink and a meal and ended up staying until the late hours. There was a fantastic band playing (the Mad Ferret Band) and with the music, great welcome, good food, great chat from the other guests and good ale we only left when we were too weary to continue. A fantastic evening, thank you.

We could find very little not to like during an overnight stay here. The bar was warm and cosy and the beer was good and cold. The service was very good with attentive staff . Our rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds were really comfy. Having been a Hotelier/Publican for many years one of my pet hates was evident... More

10 of us ate an expensive 'average' bar meal , when visiting this pub for sentimental reasons , we were almost overcharged too by barman who lacked either concentration or numeracy despite my assistance , despite this the pub accommodated our group well and service was good and had a pool table for amusement , another night we ate at... Friendly staff, good selection and price at bar, excellent live band on, on the Saturday night. Rooms clean and tidy, communal bathroom a disappointment – no hand towel provided. And although we were aware the rooms were not en-suite, I don’t feel the price reflected this. Breakfast was decent enough, not much selection and finished too early in our opinion.... More

we stayed in Coach House for several nights and it was mistake, stay there 1 night and go further and you will be fine. Our room was good. though it the most expensive one, bed was comfortable and nice linen on it. Bathroom was small, so we had out stuff in the bedroom. Actually not a lot to say, except... More

We had a wonderful one night stay at the Coach House. Our attic room was good value for money - the room and bathroom were not massive but perfectly adequate for us, and had a great view to the front over the River Tay. Breakfast was included and was well cooked with very friendly service. We chose to eat in... More
