Stayed here with my partner in January. What a beautiful street, house and room. The room was kitted out with plasma TV and IPAD2 and the furntiure and fittings were of a high standard and just like home. Breakfast was delicious and attentive. Thanks for a great stay in your beautiful home. Darryl and Jennifer More

I stayed for 3 nights at John & Ann's great B&B, arrived late but still got a very warm welcome with fresh coffee and nibbles. Room was immaculately clean with good bed and the free use of an Ipad was a nice bonus. Highly recommended, thanks for a great stay. More

We stayed 4 nights in this friendly and well run B&B. The bedrooms were immaculately clean with king sized beds, and the en-suite bathrooms clean and well thought out. The decor was to a high standard throughout, and it was cosy with underfloor heating. Breakfast was served in the warm and attractive conservatory, where there was also a small guest... More

We stayed over for a couple of nights whilst visiting friends in Helensburgh, the hosts were welcoming, the house was lovely and the garden must look amazing in the summer (we visited in autumn) We stayed in the green room, overlooking the garden, and as well as being very clean and well presented, the room had free wifi and an... We stayed for 3 nights at the end of a holiday in Scotland. Anne and John were very welcoming and we had a great stay, the room was spacious, clean and cosy. The breakfasts were plentiful. We were given great advice for visiting and eating and were very grateful and pleased with the places we went to during our stay.... More

Thanks very much for your great review. Any enjoyable stay at Balmillig depends on more than just what we provide, so we are very careful to recommend businesses and activities which we know from personal experience do a good job. After choosing Balmillig as our base, I think it's fair to say we struck gold. From the moment we arrived, Anne and John made us feel right at home and with a welcoming cup of tea and biscuits, our stay got off on the right foot. We had two of our grown - up boys in tow, and had reserved... More

We had a wonderful three night stay and was very comfortable. The breakfast was first class as was the hospitality. Our friends from England recommended and booked Balmillig for us and we were definitely not disappointed. Ann and John could not have been more helpful and friendly. We lost our camera while on vacation in Scotland and Ann found it... More

This was our second visit to Ann and John's home and, as before, the welcome was extremely warm and friendly. My husband was on a fat-free diet and they cooked special breakfasts for him. The weather was fairly disappointing (due to the hurricane from America) but Ann and John had lots of suggestions for our stay. We took their advice... More
