Located just outside & above Helensborough centre with striking vies across the Clyde lies Lethamhill. Welcoming & friendly this is a home that is also a B&B. Breakfasts are superb with extra treats supplied each morning fresly baked. Large comfortable room. Helensborough itself does not have a lot to offer (other than PJ's kitchen to dine & the award winning... More

We stayed her with our 5 year old grandaughter for 3 nights after Easter. The family room was delightful - spacious, nicely furnished and with unusually good lighting for a guest house or hotel. The en suite was also of good proportions with a powerful shower. Jane's breakfasts are superb with fresh fruit and freshly baked drop scones or griddle... More

It seems I stayed in a different bed and breakfast from the other reviews here! Maybe because it was out of season. On arrival at 4.00pm we found the property locked when we phoned the number there was a message from Jane saying leave a message etc. When we looked at the web site we noticed the booking in policy... Stayed at Lethamhill for two days last week. Jane welcomes you with tea and coffee into her quirky house which is full of interesting knick knacks. The rooms are large, beautifully furnished and very clean. Our four poster room had fabulous views over the Clyde estuary. Breakfast is made to order and was first class. A great place to stay in... My daughter and I stayed here in March for over a week and loved it. Jane customizes the breakfast for each person, you choose what you want the prior evening, and it's served in a beautiful dining room. We stayed in the "family" room, great lighting, comfortable beds, refrigerator, tea/coffee packets, and shortbread biscuits every day. Lots of quirky, interesting... More

I stayed here with my daughter in June and felt so lucky to have found the place after trawling through loads of B&Bs in the area. Jane the owner is very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, clean and very well equipped, even had a small fridge, and we loved the Jacuzzi bath. The breakfasts were amazing, lovely fresh eggs... More

We enjoyed our stay at Lethamhill! This is a B&B that provides you with a little extra. Lovely decorated spacious and clean rooms and a very nice breakfast. The B&B is beautifully situated close to Loch Lomond and has a very nice view over Helensburgh. Jane was very friendly and helpful.

A large, spacious bedroom and bath with huge windows. Windows offered fabulous Loch views. The breakfast was very nicely prepared and presented, all in a bright breakfast room. Wow! The common living room offered a sherry next to a cozy fireplace. It certainly set the tone for a nice visit. The hostess offered several sight seeing suggestions. We would stay... More

We stayed for 2 nights in July 2012. The fact that the hostess could not be there for our arrival caused us some problems. It is a very large house in a chic and quiet neighborhood. The house is filled with a collection of antiques. Our room was all right. There was a small fridge. The bed was a queen... More

We stayed in the four poster room for 2 nights whilst visiting our son and daughter-in-law. The room is large with a good sized en-suit bathroom containing a rolled top bath and a good shower. The views out over Gare Loch and the Clyde estuary towards Greenock, whilst sitting on the window seat, were so restful. The breakfast choice was... More
