A very clean B&B with large rooms and modern amenities. Lots of windows and light in the downstairs corner room where we stayed. The outstanding part of the stay however was the hospitality of the host, Ally. He met us upon arrival at about 1600 in the afternoon, quickly checked us in and offered tea or coffee. We were very... This B & B deserves every good review it has had, we were met by Ally upon arrival and shown to the upstairs room we had requested by email. I travelled with my 7 month pregnant wife, we'd seen enough pictures to know what to expect but was still a nice feeling getting into the simple but lovely, clean room... More

We were devastated to hear that you had had such a bad night, Mick. We have never had this problem before and can only apologise sincerely that your stay was spoilt by such complete lack of consideration. Ally did notice that things were a bit silent at breakfast the next morning but had no idea why. We normally have wonderfully... More

This is a lovely B&B and deserves all the wonderful reviews it has. It is good, modern, first class accommodation close to the village. The hosts Kate and Ally are lovely welcoming people. We were welcomed with a lovely pot of tea and biscuits on arrival. Breakfast was excellent, I'm sorry I couldn't fit it all in. We have always... More

A wonderfull experience with great hosts. The rooms were great and breakfast was just what we needed ahead of another day of walking. Don't let the location put you off, it'snot far out of the village and the post-dinner wander back will stretch your legs nicely.

John and I actually ended up at Bramblewood in error, thinking we had a reservation for the night. We didn't. Our hosts, Kate and Ally were wonderfully gracious - offering us a respite from the rain, a hot drink, and lovely biscuits. They then contacted the correct B&B for us and even drove us there. I can only imagine how... More

This was our first accommodation along the WHW and it turned out to be our favorite one as well. High points: - clean sheets (not always the case in other b&bs along the way) - extremely nice owner - best breakfast of our trip - spacious room and bathroom (both of which looked brand new) - good water pressure -... After our first day of Walking the WHW we were very lucky to stay at the Bramblewood. We had some problems finding it, but the room and especially the shower were absolutely wonderfull. Ally and Kate are perfect hosts and made us feel almost at home. This is defenitely one of the best B&B's on the Way.
