The Hawthorns is an excellent B&B in an attractive village close to Loch Lomond and the West Highland way. Jane, our host, was very friendly and provided us with lots of information regarding places to visit/eat. Our room was clean, warm and comfortable and there is also a lovely lounge downstairs for guests' use. We both chose the full Scottish breakfast... More

we have had a fantastic 3 day stay at The Hawthorns B&B. This is a friendly, family run B&B with a very warm welcome. Chris and Jane are very accommodating, knowledgeable and show a genuine interest in their guests. The rooms were large, clean and well lain out. We could not have asked for more.

We stayed at the Hawthorns whilst looking for a quite place to stay near Glasgow for the U2 concert. What a fabulous B&B this is. Chris and Jane are perfect hosts and the most welcoming I have ever experienced. They make you feel right at home. The B&B itself is immaculate and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was simply "world class",... More

Stopped here while walking the West Highland Way. Very friendly welcome, comfortable accommodation, clean and tidy. Breakfast was cooked to order which I appreciated as I am a vegan. Would certainly stay here again.

We stayed overnight at this hotel during out West Highland Way trip. The owners were lovely and welcomed us to the hotel, making us feel at home right away. They were knowledgeable about the trail and the area, giving us good advice on places to visit. The ensuite room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was excellent. I would recommend... More

Perfect starting point for a motorbike trip through the Highlands. Chris and Jane will make you feel right at home, the rooms are very nice and the breakfast offer enough variety and are all great. Drymen itself has a number of nice restaurants so dinner is taken care of as well. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who visits... More

Stayed for one night paying £90 B&B for room 2, a double en suite with double aspect windows making it light and bright. Plenty of hot water, a massive super king bed, TV, hairdryer, and tea and coffee making. Breakfast was great. A choice of salmon and eggs, a full Scottish and things in between. All cooked well. And the... More

We had a family room - 2 adults, 2 children, for one night while walking the West Highland Way. Very comfortable with En suite. Superb breakfast and packed lunch for the next day's walk. Lovely hosts, very welcoming. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

We had a room upstairs (quad) and the other couple had a room downstairs. Comfortable & large room, nice shower. Nice living room area. Breakfast was excellent. Chris spent a lot... More
