Stayed at The Hawthorns for one night at the end of day one of walking The West Highland Way. Slept well, can't fault breakfast and reasonably priced. Friends were in the... More

Stayed here whilst walking the WHW. Nicely placed in the middle of the village. Lovely welcome from Jane and well appointed twin room. My room was twin aspect with large windows and while it was great to see out - it did rather feel as if half the village were looking in, perhaps some nets or similar at the window!... More

Excellent room, yummy breakfast and the hosts could not have been more helpful and friendly and fun. If I could afford to give up work I'd ask to move in! Within hopping distance of 3 pubs, all of which do food, and there is tea and cake shop next door. You can enjoy a great walk to Loch Lomond from... More
