Loved this B&B, very clean, good sized rooms, great views, very friendly staff, great breakfast. Stayed here on the first night of Our West Highland way. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, and owners where very pleasant. You can tell the owners really care about the guests. Great Packed lunches too! Thankyou.

We stayed for one night. Clean room with access to the backyard. Great breakfast and if you asked you could get lunch with you for a cost of 7£. We asked for some tips for our trip and got a hole route!! Fantastic couple who owns it! Great stay for a whisky trip or if you are on your walkabout.

We stayed one night at the Hawthorns, our first stop on the West Highland Way journey. We had a lovely time at the Hawthorns, on arrival we were personally greeted by the owner and taken on a tour of the B&B. The facilities are excellent - there is a DVD player in the room with a selection of DVDs available... More

We stayed here after another B and B we had booked could no longer take us. Jane was an excellent host, who welcomed us and showed us to our beautiful room. The house itself is lovely. There are extras such as DVDs and toys for children. There is also a beautiful living room where guests can sit. The bedroom was... More

Stayed at The Hawthorns for one night at the end of day one of walking The West Highland Way. After being greeted by the very pleasant owner I was pleased to get to a lovely warm room with clean ensuite and lots of hot water for my shower. Slept well, can't fault breakfast and reasonably priced. Friends were in the... More

Stayed here whilst walking the WHW. Nicely placed in the middle of the village. Lovely welcome from Jane and well appointed twin room. My room was twin aspect with large windows and while it was great to see out - it did rather feel as if half the village were looking in, perhaps some nets or similar at the window!... More

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review all comments are important to us. Delighted you enjoyed the pack lunch which you thought was good value. We are also glad you also enjoyed the square sausage which is a traditional Scottish recipe. Since your comments we have changed the curtains in the room to darker ones which mask the... More

Excellent room, yummy breakfast and the hosts could not have been more helpful and friendly and fun. If I could afford to give up work I'd ask to move in! Within hopping distance of 3 pubs, all of which do food, and there is tea and cake shop next door. You can enjoy a great walk to Loch Lomond from... More
