Our pary of 14 have just returned for a murder mystery weekend in The Buchanan Arms. We all found the staff exceptionally friendly and obliging. The hotel was very comfortable. The pool and leisure facilities were excellent. The whole stay was fantastic, food great and murder mystery theme well worth a try. We shall certainly return to The Buchanan Arms... more

I booked this hotel for a romantic break to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were very pleased with all aspects of our stay, especially the beautiful room[37] We have stayed at Gleneagles and Skibo Castle and this room was up there with them. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the food was excellent with plenty of choice at both... more

Stayed at this hotel for a 3 day conference. The room was an excellent size, warm and with a great shower. The soup we were served for lunch each day was a variation on a... more

My partner and I had lamb and duck - both of which slightly overcooked. However, the good wine and location made up for it! Little else to do in Drymen, good location for touring the... more

We love Scotland and we have had so many great experiences in other places over the past 2 years that I think it is reason that this time, it was quite an ordinary stay. The hotel from the outside is great. It is huge and the spa/gym facilities are super and modern. Unfortunately, the rest of the hotel is quite... more

I can't fault it in any way...it seems to have been taken over and the new owners are striving to improve the hotel in all areas. to my mind there is not alot more they could do...the service is excellent, rooms great and the food and service in the... more
