We were booked into the hotel by business associates and stayed in the honeymoon suite. We stayed in the hotel for 1 night and did not arrive until early evening and didn't eat in the hotel or use the facilities so can only really comment on the room and breakfast. Just arrived back from having a lovely weekend with my husband and Friends. We booked for the dinner dance on the Saturday night and had a great time although we were disappointed that the entertainment finished at 11 o'clock especially as everyone was just getting started. Many thanks for taking the time to write a review of our hotel. As you say whilst the hotel is in need of some refurbishment there are many positive aspects which you highlight. I am pleased to say that the hotel will soon be under new ownership and there will be substantial investment in the hotel in the coming months....
The hotel is tired and in need of refurbishment but we enjoyed our 2night stay and would return in the future. The bedrooms are tired and could do with a bit more care in the way they are cleaned (dusty ledges etc) but the bed was comfortable and clean and the bathtowels etc changed daily. Beautiful location, nice pool area - ok that's the positives done. Rooms are in serious need of refurbishment, or even just a good scrub would help. Mouldy, dirty bathroom, peeling wallpaper, smelly carpet, stained matresses definitely not what was advertised on their website.
