We did the WestHighland Way and it was the best accomodation we had! The Owner Colin was very friendliy and helpful. The rooms were clean and and beautyful. We had an extraordinary breakfast with fresh fruits, cereals, and a full scottish. I hope we´ll come back soon!

We booked into Braeside for our first stop on the West Highland Way. The room was good - good sized room, comfortable bed and tastefully furnished, as was the rest of the B&B. However it was those little extra touches that made this a really excellent guest house. Having walked the 12 miles from Milngavie on a warm day, we... More

It's a pleasure to write this review of Braeside Guest House which is run so efficiently by the warm, friendly and extremely hospitable Colin and Scott. We stayed recently for 8 nights, 1 night on a B and B basis and the rest in their delightful self catering apartment. They have worked extremely hard in renovating this beautiful old house... More

This was our first stop on our west highland way walk. Couldn't have asked for more friendly hosts, our bags were already waiting in our rooms and anything we asked for was provided. Very knowledgeable hosts sharing local information. Dinner options nearby were great and the local pipe band playing at night topped it off. Rooms were beautifully done up... More

From the moment I stepped in the door Colin was there to help. Parked the car in a tough space, carried bags, got tea. Scott was great as well and was eager to do anything to help. The house was clean and bright and well appointed. They have great taste. Breakfast was great. These guys went over and above and... More

We arrived hear wet and bedraggled after our first rain-soaked day of the West Highland Way. We found the B&B outstanding with comfortable stylish rooms, extremely clean ensuite bathrooms and in a fantastic location in central Drymen. However what makes this place truly outstanding is the host Colin. He opened the door before we had a chance to ring the... More

Lovely, caring couple who could not be more helpful, efficient and friendly. Our room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast delicious and advice excellent. Loved the Scottish artists' works which complemented the atmosphere. We look forward to returning next year.
