We stayed one night in this lovely small village and our only complaint is that we weren't staying longer. After three nights in a depressing B&B in Edinburgh we found our room at Braeside to be particularly bright, clean and comfortable. Colin and Scott were lovely hosts, breakfast was delicious and my husband and I were both very happy with... More

Stayed at the Braeside Inn on Oct 2/15, our first stop on a trip through Scotland. Beautiful Inn in a charming little town. Colin & Scott were wonderful hosts and the Inn was spotless. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed with Colin and Scott whilst walking the West Highland Way. We were given such a warm and friendly welcome and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. We were tempted to go no further! Braeside is a beautiful and comfortable house, breakfast was spot on, and Colin's packed lunches (with fruit scones!) were much appreciated. A privilege and... More

Great welcome at the Braeside B&B in Drymen. Walkers on the WHW are particularly welcome at the Braeside in Drymen overlooking the village green. Scott and Colin make you feel welcome with a cup of tea on arrival. Lovely room upstairs with a view onto the green. Excellent full Scottish breakfast provides the energy for the day's walk ahead. Just... More

Our stay in Braeside B&B was excellent. The room was comfortable, and very attractive. The breakfast too was excellent. What makes Braeside outstanding, however, is the hosts themselves. Colin and Scott were amazing in their concern for my well being. Having arrived there after a bit of a trip emergency, they made sure that I was well looked after and... More

Arrived on our first day of the West Highland Way. Lovely big room, beautifully decorated, perfect shower, free wi-fi, and nice hosts! Our breakfast was a pleasure as well. Easy to reach from the WHW.

Excellent accommodation. Colin and Scott were friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble- everything was done for the comfort and ease of the guests. The bedrooms with were delightful and had everything we needed to relax after our first day's walking- including a lovely, hot powerful shower! Breakfast was a treat and set us up for next leg of... This was my first resting place on the WHW. A huge thank you to Colin and Scott for making me feel SO comfortable and welcome. I agree with previous posts- 1 night was not long enough. The room and breakfast were perfect but the company, humour and relaxed atmosphere made this a 'stand out' place to stay.

We stayed overnight in this delightful B&B on the first leg of our WHW adventure from Milngavie. The hosts were charming, the welcome genuine, the breakfast delicious (I agree with other comments regarding the yummy black pudding plus the porridge was too!), the room was comfortable and clean. The overall feel of the place is that the owners love what... More

All the 5-star reviews are fully justified. Braeside has everything you could want from a classic Scottish B & B - a warm welcome, relaxing and peaceful. Everything is immaculate and well run. The breakfast is first class, with excellent hot and cold produce. The Stornoway Black Pudding is worth the visit alone - Colin could even translate it into... More

It was our pleasure to welcome you to Braeside. Hopefully your wife will be able to join you on your return visit. Bluudwurst is always from Stornoway! Thank you for your very generous review and we look forward to seeing you in the future. Scott and Colin More
