We had a lovely one night stay at Hillview B and B at the beginning of April 2015. Adele Maini was a great host, friendly and informative about the locality and local amenities. A lovely touch was the Easter egg on our breakfast plates.

When we arrived no one was there but very quickly Samantha arrived to show us around, offering us tea and biscuits, a very warm welcome. The beds were comfortable but the en-suite was very small and the shower was very poor. It was nice having the house to our selves we were a party of 5 walking the West Highland... More

Disappointed in this B and B. Did not live up to the claim on the web page of a warm welcome with tea and home made cakes. This was not offered, breakfast was rushed to fit round hosts work schedule. House was very old fashioned, uncomfortable bed and tiny shower room. Host was pleasant but I felt as if I... More

Arrived to no one there, eventually after hunting around the back a handyman who was doing work for the owner showed us to a room with 2 very uncomfortable beds. The en suite was awful, the shower was dirty you could not sit on the loo properly the room itself was dirty. There was TV in a shared room and... More

Very clean room and bathroom. We had access to a washer and dryer and had the entire house to ourselves. The bed was uncomfortable (VERY old). Only one person in the house could shower at a time or there wasn't any water pressure (just dripped). The breakfast was nice.

This was our stopping off point on day 1 of walking the West Highland Way. The twin room was very spacious, but the bathroom rather small. The shower was a bit unpredictable, but most importantly the bed was not overly comfortable due to the prominent springs. Breakfast was OK if a bit limited. Overall not one of the best B&Bs... More

My first stop on the West Highland Way trip. This is the only dog friendly place to stay in Drymen. Adele was a great hostess and my dog even got his own shower and towel when we first arrived. Accommodation itself was adequate, however the shower could have had a bit more power about it. My room was spacious, warm... More

Whilst doing the West Highland Way I stayed here for one night and was made to feel very welcome. Ideally situated in the centre of the village. The room was clean and comfortable but I could have done with a few more coat hangers! Breakfast was excellent.

First stop on the West Highland Way and if you are walking with dogs the ONLY place in Drymen that allows dogs, so book early! Adele is lovely, she contacted us on the day to let us know that someone would meet us to let us in as she would be away by the time we arrived, had the run... More

Given a reassuring welcome by Adele at Hillview. Also, made to feel at home by the owner, Billy. An excellent breakfast and a superb afternoon meal in the next door pub, The Clachan Inn. An unusual set-up in that we had the complete run of the house overnight. Excellent wi-fi service. Main drawback was the uncomfortable bed - mattress far... More
