We had a spacious room with a balcony (overlooking the car park) and the food and service were good (including adapting some of the food to my preferred requirements!) The lighting in the room was rather poor which made reading in bed difficult but the bed itself was very comfortable. There also isn't strong enough wi-fi to get it in... More

Stayed at this hotel as a base for 4 nights whilst touring the beautiful surrounding area. Our bedroom was at the rear in the original building, which was of a good size and had recently been refurbished. Beds were comfortable, pillows and linen of good quality. The very small wardrobe only had four hangers which we made do by hanging... More

Another overnight stay at a location very close to Glasgow. Received a warm welcome on check in and was given a large well decorated room. Enjoyed an afternoon sitting in sun in rear bear garden. Later had a fantastic meal in restaurant and again in morning for full Scottish Breakfast. Good Hotel used by many nationalities which created a good... More

A family stay with no real problems , the sofa bed wasn't very comfortable for my son and lamps didn't work. But it didn't effect our stay. Breakfast was lovely and the bar and restraunt meals were good too. There wasn't a lift which could be a problem for some families. The hotel is in a great location.

I booked this hotel to celebrate an anniversary, but I was rather disappointed with the entire stay. First, our room was dark and a bit dingy, with just one small window. The "toiletries" in the bathroom was a pathetic soap dispenser for both shampoo and soap attached to the wall in the shower. The shower curtain surrounded just a tiny... More

Booked a last minute overnight at The Winnock Hotel and we had a lovely double room. Breakfast for 2 was included all for £56.70. Great breakfast too. Would definetly recommend it. Downside was free wifi was only available at the reception as it doesn't reach the rooms.

The staff were very professional & we're very helpful, especially those on reception. We stayed in a room in the new wing & the room was brilliant - a good size with good shower & tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast was just what we needed - both a continental buffet & cooked breakfast. A great hotel

First class 3 course lunch served on a very cold and wet May Sunday -food was very well prepared and staff helpful and attentive. Hotel staff could not have been more helpful or attentive to us all and carefully looked after the group. Service was swift as well Would go back again soon

Staying just outside of Drymen for a week this was our choice for eating on our first night. The staff were very welcoming and the menu was very good and easy to understand. Basically a choice of 2 or 3 courses at set (reasonable) prices or a taste of Scotland 4 course menu. The food was very good but not... More
