We needed somewhere to stay overnight before moving on to the Isle of Mull. We found this b 'n' b on here and decided to book it. We stayed in the compact room which was clearly described on the website as being small. The room was actually lovely! It had a double bed, a stool, tea and coffee making facilities... More

Charlie the host made us feel very welcome and the facilities catered for cyclists was excellent. Has drying facilities for gear and clothes and accommodation was good. We stayed in the Bunkhouse which has 2 sets of bunk beds. no frills but does the job. Breakfast isn't offered when staying in the bunk house but a packed lunch is provided... More

Nothing much to say except truly fabulous, immaculately presented guest house, spotlessly clean, excellent value and the owner is friendly, informative and nothing is too much trouble, I defy anyone to find fault with this accommodation, thank you so very much Charlie and see you again next year.

We were warmly welcomed on arrival and shown to our rooms. Our host was full of useful information about the area, including the wildlife, which we found very interesting. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well appointed, but the ensuite shower rooms are compact. Not a problem unless you are overweight! The lounge is comfortable, and we played Scrabble after... More

I walked the west highland way and enjoyed my stay with Charlie the host at Craigbank Guest House. Interestingly, both Charlie and I are engineers and we launched into a lengthy riveting conversation about our different industries and this really made me feel at home.

We hiked the north half of the West Highland Way in May and Craigbank was the first overnight stay on our trip. Subsequent accomodation as we hked was sometimes disappointing because of the great experience we had at this B&B. The room was immaculate and comfy. Breakfast was generous and well made. We were trying to decide on what to... More

As part of our Scotland tour we wanted to visit the Glen Coe mountains, and decided to stay overnight at Criaglarich. Craighouse guesthouse turned out to be an excellent choice. Not only was everything fresh, clean, and well taken care of, the host furthermore provided us with any possible information you can think of. There is a comfortable lounge room... More

The title says it all. The room was clean, comfortable and attractively furnished. Our host, Charlie, took our boots and cleaned and dried them overnight. The facility fronts the highway but I didn't notice any traffic noise so the sound insulation must have been good. Because of the quality and reasonable price this would be a candidate for a two... I stayed here with a group of friends as we were walking the West Highland Way. We received a warm welcome from Charlie, helping us to clean the mud off our walking boots before leaving them in the drying room. The rooms are immaculate and well equipped, although it would have been nice to have a little more around the... More
