We stayed at the Old Church for one night as we set out on the West Highland Way, and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent and warm hospitality we experienced. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast we received in the morning made for an excellent start of the day. In addition we received an unexpected present in the... More

We had a lovely stay in the Old Church, after a long day of walking the West Highland Way. Mabel had tea and delicious homemade scones with homemade jam and fruit cake on arrival. Exactly what we needed after walking for so many miles. The house was lovely, decorated beautifully and the bed was very comfortable. Even the dog and... More

My wife and I stayed here while walking the West Highland Way and it was a welcome respite. Mabel greeted us with a twinkle in her eye and made us feel right at home. One thing I learned about Scotland in the 12 days we were there is that they all have very small showers but the shower at The... More

A wonderful location on our return from Skye. Beautiful scenery and walks. Rooms spacious and facilities great. We were greeted with home made scones and tea and the breakfast was amazing. Mabel couldn't be more helpful. Will make a point of returning there if ever get the chance.

For our first night on this trip in Scotland, we got in the spirit of the country. We were warmly welcomed by Mabel. The house is very nice and in a calm, lovely surrounding. The rooms are large and very cosy. The breakfast was very good. It is a nice place to stay in Crianlarich.

We stayed at The Old Church on our way home from the Isle of Skye. We chose this venue based on other Trip Advisor reviews, and we weren't disappointed. We had a lovely big room with glorious views. Our room and ensuite were very comfortable. On arrival, we were given lovely, and very welcome, scones and biscuits with tea/coffee. Breakfast... More

I stayed for 3 nights at the Old Church while doing some hillwalking in the Tyndrum area. My room was large with a very comfortable bed and a great view towards Ben More and Stob Binnein. The shower was fantastic - very important after a day toiling up the steep hills in the area. There is a large guest lounge,... More

In an idyllic spot with the mountains and pastures - lovely welcome from Mabel and sweet little scruffy dog - big clean room and bathroom with country views to die for - and homemade muesli and SCONES for breakfast. Top points for a lovely place. Definitely recommend to anyone.

This was my second stay at The Old Church just outside Tyndrum and right on the West Highland Way. Mabel was very welcoming with tea and cake when we arrived. The room was very comfortable and there was a garage to store our bikes. Great breakfast to get us off to a good start the next day. Would be delighted... More
