Stayed here (as a family of 2 adults/2 children) last weekend for one night and despite the weather we had a wonderful stay. Very peaceful village on a main road, but background mountains made for a lovely setting. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Food was of a very good standard/usual hotel bar prices. Only negative point is the boiler... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Food was excellent with a good range of menu options. Our bedroom was a double ensuite, which was very comfortable, clean and well decorated. We found the staff helpful and accommodating. Would have no hesitation staying here again.

Stayed for one night recently but wouldn't stay again. All the staff were really nice - helpful and efficient. However, our room wasn't very big and very noisy. Also, there were two bowls near reception catching the leaks from the ceiling. Had to carry heavy cases down the stairs as lift broke whilst we were there. Breakfast fine.

I recently visited this hotel and cannot commend the experience too much. From being welcomed by the manager and reception staff, to being served excellent food by the restaurant staff (I thanked the chefs personally) Bedrooms were clean and were serviced daily to a good standard. Scottish entertainment was provided to a welcoming audience although this was a coach tour... More

Booked on line to stay here one night en route to Skye. Would not have stopped if we had not booked, as the exterior appearance of the Hotel is drab. We were given the key to our room (if you can call it a "room") which was smaller than a cabin on a ship, about 18inches either side of the... More

Staff very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Ken very welcoming and hardworking. Restaurant service good and excellent breakfast. Rooms nice and clean and maybe bathroom a little 'fitted in' but very clean and adequate for a two night stay. Only downside was price of the drinks, starters and puds everything else excellent value for money. Ideal location... More

We visited the hotel as part of a Rail Discoveries holiday. On first site the hotel looked in need of some attention. The staff at the hotel were very helpful especially in the restaurant. There were two issues at the hotel which need to be pointed out. One was the over powering smell of gas in the lift area (on... More

We passed through here on our journey to the hebrides from the south of the UK stopping for refreshments. The service was excellent, welcoming and super helpful. The manager allowed us to use an empty room to bath and feed our small baby early one evening as she had been in the car for hours and hours, free of charge.... More

What a delight to stop for lunch at the Crianlarich Hotel on our way from Aberdeen to Oban. Great welcome, superp home made soup in quite a grand setting made it a good experience. This is a must stop hotel with a difference whilst touring in the area

I checked in after running 53 miles along the West Highland Way - so comfort was much needed! It's not a stellar hotel. The room was small, it could have done with a make-over... or could it? It had a warm feeling and was permeated by a sense of shared adventures from over the years. The in-house pub area was... More
