This was belated birthday present from my boyfriend and it was amazing. We were so relaxed and happy. We stayed in a gorgeous feature room with a steam room. I loved that we could park behind our room and exit and enter without having to go through the courtyard. That added to the feeling of seclusion and escape. I really... More

We stayed for two nights at the end of February. Apart from the last 6 miles the hotel is served by good roads - the last part of the journey was a single track (but well tarmac-ed) road right by the loch side. Not sure i'd want to attempt it in the dark! We had a room in the main... More

We just love this place ! This was our 5th visit to the hotel so we knew what to expect . Warm and friendly welcome, great accommodation, wonderful views and fantastic food! Although we have stayed in a few different rooms, our favourite is by far room 11 ! The slipper baths ! There is nothing nicer than sitting I... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3rd visit to Monachyle Mhor this time taking our dog who was made to feel as welcome as we were. Stayed in courtyard room 10 which was lovely and so peaceful. The food along with the atmosphere is what draws us back- we love the food which looks and tastes devine - you can tell that is... More

Our second visit was every bit as enjoyable as our first. This time we were in a courtyard room, number 6 I think, and it was lovely. We were particularly amused by the little doors between the bedroom and the bath, complete with mood lighting! Great array of yummy toiletries and a quality hospitality tray with a selection of ground... More

Well done Louise, that was hysterical, and gave me great amusement. I loved the thought of Lisa Lewis, stotting, yes stotting, (brilliant Louise), is that a word, towards you, hammered. It's the Highland air that does it you know. It apparently also attracts English dog lovers, from Buckingham. No voters I would expect......anyway, we were there on Sunday, exceptional service,... My husband and I have just spent a wonderful weekend at this fantastic hotel! Having had a tough year due to illness we decided to treat ourselves (kid free) to a two night stay at the hotel and what a treat it was. First the room - our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable with a hint of sophistication.... More

We have just arrived back from this lovely establishment, we stayed in the hay loft which was beautifully warm, with its real flame gas wood burner and bright, light and with a super bath just the job. The floors where wooden and topped with a rug so our dogs (yes paid extra for) Had a marvelous time playing with Tinker... More

Had a very strange visit to this place culminating with verbal and physical abuse from the owner's rather drunk wife!! I wouldn't ordinarily write such a long review but I am still reeling from our (v v v expensive) experience. To be clear, Waiting and Reception staff were wonderful and the food was very nice although not "fine dining" in... More
