I was traveling with my husband and his parents (80years old) and this was the perfect B and B. Betty Twaddle was kind, considerate, and a very good cook. I had spoken with her prior to our arrival and her responses were quick and thorough. We were to arrive quite early due to flights and she was most accommodating. She... More

We spent two very enjoyable nights with Betty & Joe at Passfoot. The breakfast was outstanding and the house charming. Highly recommend staying here whether you are walking the WHW or just visting Balmaha.

Set in an idyllic location beside Loch Lomond and right on the West Highland Way, we liked this B & B very much indeed. Great welcomeand warm hospitality throughout. Lovely room, access to a comfortable lounge in the evening and great breakfast - what more could you ask. Only 2 rooms though so make sure you book in good time.

Overlooking Loch Lomond this is an ideal stopping off point whilst walking the West Highland Way. After we had made our booking a welcoming postcard was sent to us from the owners. A nice touch, thank you. We received a friendly welcome on our arrival & were shown to our spotless & very comfy rooms. There is a large lounge... More

Lovely B&B in a stunning location on the shores of Loch Lomond. Only 2 guest rooms so not overcrowded. Some people might not enjoy having to sit with other guests at breakfast but we got on well with our fellow visitors. Betty is a very welcoming host and greeted us with tea and biscuits which was nice. Would probably prefer... More

This little B&B is quite the charmer. Our room with its newly remodeled ensuite was quite comfortable, and the public area where we were welcome to sit and enjoy the view out across the Loch after 4:30 was quite snug and welcoming. The weather was not warm enough while we were there to enjoy the lawn chair area right on... More

A really lovely B&B - great Loch Lomond views, excellently positioned for fine walks, clean and very well-organised, great breakfast and lots of good advice available from Betty - the three of us really enjoyed our overnight stay there and will return.

I'm generally very fussy but you cannot fault Passfoot B&B. It's a lovely building with history (Tollhouse from mid 18th Century) that has been sympathetically modernised to give great comfort to us B&Bers. Views of Loch Lomond from Betty's lounge window which you just can't take your eyes off whatever time of day it is. A welcome cup of tea... More

After not being able to check in at the Balmaha Bunkhouse, the Passfoot Bed and Breakfast turned out to be a true gem. We had a very warm welcome even though we had not booked and more or less stumbled quite exhausted and with low spirits into their living room. We couldn't have had it any better! Betty, the manager... More

Wonderful position with views to die for. Modern bedrooms, very comfortable, with fully equipped en-suite wet room. Friendly welcome from Betty with a pot of tea when we arrived. Wonderful breakfast - the smoked haddock was the best I have ever had. Large lounge with views across the Loch. Everything you could want.
