We booked to stay for two nights at this place but on the first night discovered the bed was broken. As soon as we could the next day, we reported this to the owner. She was initially concerned that we couldn't sleep in a broken bed because it meant she 'wasn't insured' but then said it it would cost her £500 to replace the bed and suggested maybe it was us who had broken it. When we reminded her it was us who had found the bed broken she got mad and threatened to call the police then threw us out. That was 10.30pm on a Saturday night. We had nowhere to stay and my wife was in tears. more
