This was our second stay at this hotel as we regularly come to visit relatives in the area. The location is excellent - just across the road from Loch Lomond national park and a short car journey to The Trossachs (Rob Roy country). Hotel rooms are modern, with plenty of room and everything you would expect. There are only ~7... more

I have to admit to being very impressed by the standard of accomodation offered here.We stayed here just to one night as we were attending a wedding nearby. We paid £79.50 and the twin room we had (no. 3) was spacious, modern, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was decent and the staff were very friendly. Good work waterhouse inn.. more

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at The Waterhouse Inn and would highly recommend it - terrific value for money. We were attending a wedding weekend at the Loch Lomond youth hostel but we didn't fancy sleeping in one of the dorms - prefer our home comforts and we were not disappointed. We found the staff very... more

Just spent an evening at the Hotel. From the outside we didn't expect much but were very pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are of a very high standard, very large, modern, fabulous shower. The parking is across the road which is no problem. We ate breakfast and lunch at the hotel and both were... more

On calling at reception the staff were very helpful and friendly. they recommended an excellent italian seconds down the road(which was very good food and friendly staff with our 5 and 3 year old). car parking is across the road but it... more

Stayed for one night. When booking was told that there was only one room left at 75 pounds, however we were the only guests. The restaurant within the hotel was closed, again something that we hadn't been told. There was no phone in the room, despite the description on the webpage stating that there were all the conveniences you would... more

Stayed for one night when travelling to Fort William. The rooms are situated above the pub and were very modern, spacious and clean with plenty of wardrobe space and security safe. Modern bathroom with large shower (no bath). Noise from pub did not permeate upstairs to the bedrooms. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Balloch has a lot to offer with boat trips... more

We have just returned from two nights at the Waterhouse Inn, Balloch. The 'hotel' is not a hotel in the true sense of the word. It is an inn with rooms above, in a row of shops between a sandwich take away and a Chinese take away on a main road through the centre of Balloch. It has no car... more
