We are a spanish couple who drived around Scotland last August '09 and we slept every night in a different B&B. This is our favourite one. It is really clean, I mean CLEAN, beautiful deco and tidy. Gary is so kind that he recommend us where to have dinner, he even phoned to ask for an available table for us... more

Gary is the ideal host and very welcoming. He was happy to provide for a special diet and was helpful and friendly. To ensure we could stay at this wonderful B & B we booked early in the year. Having been disappointed before we had to make sure of an excellent stay. We were not disappointed. Great rooms, food and... more

He showed me the room and was the perfect host. The house is beautiful, our room was very comfy, the breakfast was a treat. We had time in... more

Gary was the perfect host from the moment we first spoke on the telephone and was even more welcoming once we arrived. The room was perfect and the whiskey a nice touch. After a wet day in the highlands a take away curry and a night in the lounge was just the right thing and the breakfasts were perfect too!... more

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Long Shadows. You couldn't ask for friendlier service. Our party comprised three adults. We had with us our new Shih-Tzu puppy, Darcey, who was made to feel just as welcome as we were. It was a great weekend, and I would go back again anytime. Accommodation was top class, the rooms were spotlessly clean... more

We loved Long Shadows B&B. From the minute we went through the door to when we left we were made to feel welcomed. The house is lovely. The rooms are so nice. OK, the en-suite with the Folies bedroom is rather small so if anyone is very tall or extremely chunky maybe that en-suite is not for you but it... more

Down the small hall was our bathroom which provided us with lovely bath robes and nice clean towels!! Decor around this place is lovely and very clean, tidy and cosy. Breakfast is very nice with... more
