We stayed at the hotel with national holidays. Hotel is like people say in need of updating but it's clean, beautiful location, and has the nicest staff anyone could ask for. I don't really know why people complain because I honestly couldn't find a fault with it for the cost of weekend break. Our driver Wilf was great infact he... More

I stayed at the Claymore Hotel, Arrochar as part of a five day National Holiday break. Having paid a supplement for a single room with a Loch view and making a special request for a quieter room, I was placed in a dirty, musty, shabby room separated from the evening entertainment room by the thinnest of partition walls. Due to... More

How bizarre that you submit a review 8 months after you stayed here. Many of the issues you have raised here did not happen. Perhaps a more timely response would be more informative to potential guests. Regards, Gary Watson. More

Very disgusted in this hotel! (Its like faulty towers) Such a run down place that needs a lot of time spent on it!! So dirty and disgusting!! I bet a lot of the b and b's are higher standard than this so called hotel!! Room was filthy, thick dust on the skirting boards, dust and muck all over the carpet,... More

I wonder what we have done to deserve such a poor review after the previous reviews you had submitted were complimentary in most respects. You obviously didn't get what you wanted during your stay and this review is totally undeserving and untrue. The management are always available to sort out any issues you may have during your stay but it... More

Well located, very clean hotel. Very dated with very few rooms having showers. You have to get a rubber tap attachment from reception. Take your own shampoo, conditioner as non were supplied. Food very good with friendly staff. Bar quite expensive. All in all good hotel.

Great f Food Great Service & Friendly Staff. We arrived 2 days after my son complained about the terrible hygine levels on bedroom 201. All issues were sorted. My son fully appreciates sorting out so quickly. He regrets putting staff under so much pressure. But feels had to raise them. For benefit of future guests like ourselves.
