My husband and I stayed at the Drovers whilst on the way to the ferry at Ullerpool. Yes it is old but has been allowed to totally run down over the years .Our room was small dinghy and had a cracked mirror. The mattress had a plastic incontinence cover over which was extremely uncomfortable. When we booked they had explained we... More

A very old inn! Atmospheric. Met by a stuffed bear in hall but received a warm welcome. Room better than expected but heating on all the time. Bed rather lumpy, but good ensuite. Food good in bar and breakfast quickly served.

Have stayed in the drovers many times and always loved it. Always Booked ensuite rooms. Did so in usual way and arrived to both rooms having shared bathrooms with a least 3 other rooms...no shower just a bath! Didn't even know they did shared bathrooms. Our room was tiny but clean and had a new window. Friends room whilst bigger... More

It wasn't what I was expecting either. I WAS expecting a dark, old, stuffed beast, ramshackle of a building, set within a beautiful picture postcard backdrop. I got most of that, although the grounds of the Inn and the lodges were an uninspiring grey stone chipped car park, with rubble just laying about and no sign of it having been... More

There are few bars / inns that have been frozen in time . It felt like walking into a stage set for game of thrones. Great experience. Best old bar I have been to. The entire back felt like the 1700s and nothing had been changed.

We visited in 1993 when we did the West Highland Way. We were on our way to the Isle of Skye and thought it would be a brilliant stop off point to see if it was as we remembered! Great to be back. Nothing has changed in 22 years! Words can't describe. You will just have to experience it for... More

Stopped for lunch. Amazing! Second time here for food. Never stayed overnight so can't comment. Staff very nice and offer great service. Bar area is cosy and has two log burners. Lobby area full of stuffed animals. Would definitely return for food and probably try the overnight stay even although I would be going against the reviews. :)
