It has been quite a time since I was last in the Drovers, and what it might lack in some aspects;it more than makes up for in character, setting, service, and atmosphere. As a group we arrived for a drink, and that of tea and coffee. With regards to tea and coffee, this was brought to our table with some good banter. The Gents toilets are now in a... I can't believe in this day and age places like this still exist, equally I can't understand some of the (recent) rave reviews this place has got. One of them roughly coincides with when I was there and is the polar opposite to my perception. It is in a great location, that cannot be denied and the food and bar... More

I have stayed at the Drovers Inn a few times over the last 15 years. Location is fantastic and staff are very friendly. I stayed in room No15 and was delighted to see that the rooms have had a refurbishment since my last visit. Beer, whisky, food and traditional Scottish music is great in the bar after a day out... Been here several times as a quick night away only 90 mins from Glasgow city centre. This time we stayed in the rooms across the road as our dog is getting very old and had previously found it difficult to climb the stairs in the main building. The rooms across from the main building are modern great size with en... More

I stayed here at the end of my 3rd day on the West Highland Way, April 2014. The hotel was quirky and really welcoming for dogs. The food was delicious and my dog was allowed in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. I slept in one of the rooms that had a Jacuzzi at the bottom of the bed. Ideal... More

What a great night me and my partner had (aged 23). We stayed in 1 of the lodges with a jacuzzi, room was spotless couldn't fault a thing. Went to the resturant for dinner and a few drinks, food was great aswell, staff very pleasant and friendly. We both got the homely, cozy feeling. Thanks to all the staff.

I stayed here for 3 nights bed and breakfast; the total cost was under £100 (stay 2 nights, get the 3rd free). The bedroom, with a 4 poster bed, was clean, warm and comfortable. I was advised to stay in the rooms on the opposite side of the road to the main building as these are generally quiter. The evening... More

We stayed for a night after walking in arrochar. Cosy place full of character. Lovely staff. Great food. Accommodation a wee bit worn in places, but that's the general laid back feel of the place. A great place to go for a relaxed break.
