5* this hotel is a top hotel! I like all deVere hotels but this is by far the nicest. Its a Hidden gem with a great location right at the side of Loch Lomand. We had a room with a fantastic view of the loch, was just a shame it was january and raining. The main restuarnt was very nice... more

We only stayed in the hotel for 2 nights but would have liked to have stayed longer. The location cannot be faulted, gorgeous, uninterrupted views of Loch Lomond and the hotel itself is a beautiful building and appears to have been refurbished recently, all the public areas are clean and well furnished and the facilities are brilliant. The staff were... more

Yes this hotel has superb facilities, luxury bars, warm swimming pool etc. The timeshare lodges are also first class, we've been here for three years running, as a base for touring. Unfortunately the hotel drinks and food are outlandishly overpriced. eg a glass of house rose wine - £10 !! Pint of Bellhaven - £4 !! If you like single... more

We got an amazing deal which included bed, breakfast and the option of 18 holes of golf or the spa experience. We stayed in the double rooms with the loch view and they were fabulous. Nicely decorated & really out of this world. The bathrooms were all newly decorated, floor to ceiling tiles and underfloor heating. Very clean may i... more

It took us three rooms to get one with a view of the lake, despite the fact that we had paid for it. Be very careful as the garden rooms give onto a busy highway. The rooms are fitted with all the modern conveniences, but depressing, They ALL have one small window heavily curtained, the wall are very dark stained... more

We stayed here for three nights in late September 2009. The good parts were as follows: Beautiful hotel, lovely for Autumn/Winter due to the open fire in reception and the candles. Gorgeous building in a stunning location - on the lakeside, and within a mile's walk of shops and other life. Superb restaurant, with fantastic staff both in the restaurant... more

Wow factor hotel. Fabulous staff that can not do enough to help. Fantastic views of the loch. superb restaurants and beds that make you want to stay in them for 24hours. If the bathroom had not been so inviting with the Occitane bath products calling, I think I could have slept throughout my stay. Spa and leisure facilities are great.... more

It was more than we would normally shell out for an extended family weekend. Loch Lomond is a bit hackneyed and the local facilities villages, boat trips etc were geared to make money out of people like us. The hotel looks about as twee as they come and the inside is in similar vein. I have always been sceptical about... more

We stayed here for the latter part of our honeymoon after staying at some more reasonably priced hotels in the area, which we were very pleased with. Having just been married in Las Vegas the previous week, the hotel had a lot to live up to as the hotels in Vegas are out of this world! The hotel itself is... more

Stayed for two nights in early September and despite the heavy rain you cannot fail to be impressed with the magnificent views. The hotel was restful with great staff who looked after our small party with golf bags and clubs very well - nothing to much trouble. Food was very good as was the service. Rooms are comfortable with plenty... more
