Stayed here at the end of August when visiting family. We had a garden room and whilst it was a really decent size with plenty of storage there was no view to speak of. The front of the house faces the bay with views to die for. Rooms are well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and free... More

Enjoyed our 3 day break at this hotel. Owners were very friendly and made us feel most welcome. Excellent choice and quality at breakfast. The hotel is conveniently located near the ferry and within walking distance of Rothesay town centre with on street parking.

Onca again I cannot thank David and his team enough for their assistance and kindness during my recent stay. The rooms are very clean and tidy with all the amenities that you would expect. We arrived earlier than we had planned but all the stops were pulled out to have our rooms ready. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I... More

First time back in Rothesay for nearly 27 years. Booked this B&B and very glad I did! I searched the internet for accommodation but some are pretty poor on-line. The guest house has a brilliant overlooking view of the Kyles. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. My wife and I loved staying here - we will definitely be... More

July 26th. We arrived late afternoon from the ferry crossing and were met at the hotel by 2 smiling faces,we were then shown to our rooms which were lovely, the B&B is about 10 minutes walk into Rothesay, which if you have a car is good because the parking is easier. The breakfast next morning was excellent and kept us... More

Stayed at the Ardyne - weekend of the 12.7.2014.This was my 6th year staying at the Ardyne, the 2nd year on the trot with David and Kate since they became Proprietors. Like previous years my stay was comfortable and very enjoyable. David & Kate once again outdone themselves regarding their hospitality, and again helped make our Golfing weekend in Bute,... More

We recently stayed here for 1 night, we arrived in Rothesay early evening and booked the night at the Ardyne. We usually stay in hotels so this was a bit new for us. The hosts were very welcoming, our room was lovely and clean and provided everything needed for a comfortable nights stay, ensuite bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities, lots of... More

The Ardyne was a great place to stay. Very nice hosts, great breakfasts. Our room was small, but I actually like small spaces, so it was perfect. Our room had two windows which gave us lovely breezes throughout the night, but another in our party said her room was a bit stuffy - no windows that would open.

This was our second stay at the Ardyne, last year the weather was beautiful, so I didn't think the stay would be as enjoyable as the weather wasn't as sunny this time, how wrong was I.
