My wife and I stayed here recently and the hospitality was first class. The house is so convenient to the ferry that we found it within 5 minutes. The views from the dining room are stunning. A settee is provided so guests can sit and gaze at the view from the bay window. We were made to feel very welcome... More

We stayed for 5 nights. Really nice room, excellent cooked breakfast and buffet with some really nice choices available besides full breakfast (e.g eggs benedict). Owners were very friendly and helpful (even sending on something I left there :) ) and the location is excellent too.

Popped over to Bute for the first time and stayed a couple of nights in the Ardyne - a sturdy old guest house with a wonderful view over the bay from both the dining-room and my own room. The break was exactly what I wanted - a fresh, spacious and comfortable room in quiet surroundings, with friendly, helpful and hospitable... More

The Ardyne is right on the front overlooking the sea with views to the mainland. We were looked after excellently. Good sized clean rooms and very friendly staff. Superb breakfast all local produce to a high standard with choice of Kippers, full English, cereal etc.. Parking is on the road. Free Wi-Fi. Good place to explore the island from.

Stayed here, nice location and friendly owner. Can't complain with cleanliness at all. Earliest breakfast is 7.30am which meant I couldn't have any due to ferry times. Shower is not the best, non-power shower and kept going very hot then cold. Cheers

Lovely people, very clean and tidy rooms and excellent breakfast. The Ardyne is right on the front, offering excellent views across to the mainland (if it wasn't raining so much!) and is handily placed for the nearby town. I would have given it top marks had there been some off road parking for our motorcycles, however parking on the road... More

This is a lovely b&b, with beautiful sea views, located just outside the town of Rothesay, and it makes a great base from which to explore the island. We did not have a car with us, and it was an easy 15-minute walk into town. There is also a bus stop less than 1 minute away, from which we took... More

We found this B&B through an agent and were told that the last room they has was a "Superior" double room king size bed. It was on the 2nd floor and the view from the window was spectacular. One was able to sit and enjoy looking over the whole bay. The room has a small second room, more of a... More
