Just back from a weekend away staying in the Bayview hotel. Lovely friendly welcome from Irene & Andy, great couple who go the extra mile to make your stay the best possible. Best breakfast with fab poached eggs, well worth a visit.

I booked 9 people into the Bayview Hotel, it was pure luck to find this gem. Irene and Andy could not have been more helpful, very welcoming, friendly and a superb sense of fun and humour The hotel is very well run and nothing to much trouble. The rooms are big and spacious and spotlessly clean as is the bathroom. Huge... More

We had a big , comfortable room with amazing views across the bay. The owners have tried hard with this old property and the public area are nicely decorated and comfortable. I have to say that I don't like toiletries from dispensers but that is minor. The cistern was noisy and the guests above us could be heard walking across their... More

We had a marvellous holiday with really good food. The owners were so helpful and made us all so welcome. Although we had rooms on the top floor it was well worth the climb for the beautiful views across the bay. We must have the hottest week on record whilst we were staying at the hotel and it would have... More

Stayed at this hotel while on a trip to scotland at the beginning of August. My friend and I wanted to get away for a few days, so decided to pay a visit to Rothesay for a couple of days, with an overnight stay for which we booked at the Bayview. Greeted at reception by one of the owners who... More

Fantastic. The room was spotlessly clean, as was the whole of the hotel. Irene was extremely friendly, really helpful and attentive. Breakfast was prompt, well-cooked, and there was a great deal of choice. We were in a room on the top floor, with a stunning sea view, definitely worth the two flights of stairs. Can't wait to come back again.
