I can't say enough about the warmth, help, and accomodations provided by Andy and Joan. Stayed in the front room that was large and spacious with incredible views of Rothesay Bay and impeccable modern bathroom. Heat control was a bit quirky but manageable. Fantastic breakfast and great conversation with Joan and Andy. They were more than willing to help especially... more

Great place. Rooms are clean and comfortable and half of them have great views over the bay. The food is fabulous, and not just breakfast... if you choose to have dinner you will not be disappointed. Our party took over the whole place, so we were lucky enough to experience the buffet dinner including a huge platter of langoustine that... more

Very clean; relaxed and friendly; effective and efficient service, fabulous views over Rothesay Bay. So, tick all of the usual boxes for a good B&B. Then add owners Andy and Joan Walters, The Dogs (labradors - as friendly as the owners, but hairier), outstanding local knowledge (discuss the life cycle of the langoustine at your leisure) and maybe, just maybe,... more

We recently stayed at Munro's B & B and found the whole experience very enjoyable. From the quality of the room and hearty breakfast to the friendliness of the owners and their dogs, the two nights we spent there were very comfortable and exceeded our expectations. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts with Andy lending us a detailed... more

Stayed for one night, room was lovely and clean, the owners made us feel right at home, so much choice for breakfast, food was great. And of course our springer spaniel was with us. Will definitely go back. more

My brother who lives in Canada came for a visit to see us at our home in England. We decided to visit our old haunts on Bute where we spent many holidays in our youth. We wanted to stay close to Port Bannatyne, so we went on the internet and thankfully came up with Munro's B & B. We were... more

We came to Munro's to celebrate our friends birthday and it was absolutely fantastic. Our hosts Andy and Joan (and Meg and Freddie, the loveliest black Labradors in the world) were so friendly and accommodating - nothing was too much bother for them. The food was brilliant and the rooms are spectacular. We stayed in room 3 with the four... more

Rooms? given beautiful. Breakfast? sure delicious. Views? Lovely! But what really stuns me are the owners. They are very friendly, kind, accommodating, and hospitable! And that is all that matters to me. They made me feel at home and comfortable. I enjoyed so much! Thank you guys! more

We stumbled across Munro's by accident, having been given a list of numbers to phone by the Tourist Board. Andy was SO helpful it was hard to say no. We had a week touring the area, and Munro's proved to be the best nights stay of our whole trip. Beautiful setting, fab decor, friendly owners who didn't mind the dog... more
