Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and we enjoyed 2 evening meals there, food was lovely. Breakfast was great and the shower in our room (4) was fabulous.A great base for exploring the Oban area, would definitely stay again.

Spent 1 night in the chalet to celebrate my 28th birthday, was greeted by flowers, a birthday card and chilled wine as we entered! unexpected lovely gesture. Stayed here for 4 days on a course. The food was great, there was always a lovely fire in the log burner when we came in from our day (spent training in the river), and the bar served good beer and an excellent range of whiskey. Everything is clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. Hot shower and decent... More

Just spent a very nice couple of days staying at the Brander whilst attending a course in the area. Food staff and room excellent! The bar is very well stocked with malt whisky and even better the barman had a very unsteady hand. Caol Ila may need to be restocked 😄 Many thanks for looking after us Dave, can't wait... More

We stopped some time ago for a meal and were so pleasantly surprised by its warm relaxing atmosphere. We decided to stay for a night and on e again were blown away by the place. Very friendly staff and management and lovely adequate rooms. We ate in the bar so cannot comment on the restaurant food, but we thoroughly enjoyed... More

After a long ferry journey we arrived late at night hoping only for a hot shower and a good night's sleep. We got both of these and much, much more! We had a lovely room, spotlessly clean and recently refurbished, with every comfort catered for. The generous toiletries supplied in the bathroom and the well-stocked hospitality tray were much appreciated... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights last weekend for a family wedding and had a lovely time. The hotel is in a beautiful location with lovely gardens. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the food in the restaurant was excellent. The staff were all fantastic and made everyone feel so welcome. Made the young children feel right at... More

We stayed here for six nights for a summer holiday. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed excellent meals in the restaurant during our stay. The location is ideal for walking and photography. We walked the good tracks along Loch Etive and Glen and were rewarded with lovely scenery and views. The hotel is close to... More
