We were treated warmly, treated royally, and had a great 2 night stay, with fabulous food and nice rooms at a great price. The meals were brilliant, the staff were attentive, friendly, and accommodating. We enjoyed drinks in the bar, and even ate dinner their one night.

This family run hotel was our best experience so far on our weekends away. initially we were only staying one night, but the combination of scenery, the hotel and grounds, the amazing food mconvinced us to stay on. Then we come to the staff..every... More

We have just returned from a very relaxing 2 night stay in the Brander Lodge Chalet which is located in the stunning, well maintained grounds of the hotel. The staff made us feel so welcome from check-in and throughout our weekend. Breakfast is of a high quality and plentiful. Although we stayed in the Chalet, which is self-catering, we also... More

I stayed here for two nights on business and the staff were absolutely excellent and certainly made my stay. They were very accommodating to my special dietary requirements, and even made me a mint tea made with fresh mint from the garden! All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food at breakfast and dinner was really... More

We stayed at Brander Lodge for one night in July. The setting is beautiful with a large and beautifully maintained garden at the front and back of the hotel. On arrival, we were greeted exceedingly warmly by the owner, his daughter, and the manager -- who was still helping guests despite the fact that it was his day off. The... More

I heartily recommend this hotel to all and sundry. We were very comfortable in our stay. The food was excellent, particularly the fresh sea food. The staff were ever so friendly, exceptionally helpful, and really couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely return on my next trip to the area
